My direct experiences were terrible. Made an accidental payment to Kenergy with online banking that was intended for my mortgage payment on Nov 7. Called and spoke to person in accounts and they told me it would have to be corrected/retracted through my bank so I then contacted the bank and filed a claim to have it retracted. During the 5 day period for this to have my money refunded to my account Kenergy proceeded to process that payment into my account which was a gross overpayment, something I would never do and haven't done in the 28 years I've been with Kenergys service so I would have thought it would have been flagged or at least gotten a call. So, on Nov 14. I still had not been refunded for the overpayment and contacted the bank and the bank officer told me that Kenergy has refused refunding the money back to my account and this has gone on with me going back and forth with my bank and Kenergy for nearly a month to which Kenergy will not refund back to the bank and finally tell me they can cut me a check, but it won't be until Friday Dec 2. So, nearly a full month of getting nowhere when all they had to do is, 1, not went ahead and processed it after i made the original call. 2 they could have just cut me a refund check three weeks prior. I havenāt had good internet connection in almost a week canāt play game or anything and customer service/tech support are useless even after troubleshooting canāt give me a legit answer why and wanna play the run around because they donāt wanna deal with it. I pay my bills on time and canāt get service and they REFUSE to address it and send a technician out physically to check it. Iāve called 6-8 times in the last week trying to get a real technician (not a poser in a cubical who is reading scripts) come out and nobody will get one or even act like they will attempt to or say āwe submitted a ticket order and itās āescalatedā so someone will call you back within 24-48 hours to go over the ticketā but here we are NOTHING and No answers. We thought spectrum was bad but kenergy internet is making them seem like heaven bc at least when I called spectrum with a problem they had someone out the next day. Kenergy as a utility for electricity great I give them 4 stars for that but internet they need to do something about that department bc itās AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I feel like a homeless man on the street could do better. They incorrectly estimated my electric usage for the past 6 months and told me I have to pay them 455 for their mistake. When I asked them for a number I could call for help with this problem the girl on the phone gave me the number for a Christian college. I recommend anyone else other than Kenergy.
