I am very upset about what I heard the other day. This location had to let go several of there team members go because the corporate changed there hiring practices. These team members who were let go were the best and had the best customer service I have experienced. Two of them brought the food out to you and you couldn't ask for better service or better people. Because these employees make bad choice in life and had done there time and was making there life better and trying to start over and make something of there self, and worked really hard for this company. For this company to let them go because the corporate is a idiot. Now these people have to try and start over again and hope to find work. It's a damn shame. Everyone deserves a second chance in life and they learned what they did was wrong and are trying to be better people. Sonic corporation you should be ashamed of yourself for what you did to these employees , these employees worked hard for you and gave there all. The people in this corporation are not angels and before you made a decision like that you should of came and watched and got to know these employees like I did, let them see how hard they worked for you and the smiles they put on your customers face. I hope this gets out to other people who feel the same way. I want these team members back. I don't know who I need to talk to in your corporate office but it was wrong what you did. The people who view this post please if you had a great experience with Wolfgang, and Cory please voice your opinion to this corporation and let get there job back. I am not going to stop tell people of Owensboro what this corporation did to these employees and many others who worked there. Lets get these employees there job...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOwensboro, Kentucky location. If it were not for Tabitha then I would give this place a 1 star. Tabitha does an amazing job at carhopping as well as order taking and customer service. She is fast and always friendly! My children look forward to seeing her every time we go to Sonic, which is currently about 4 times a week or more. (My 4 year old is crazy about the BBQ popcorn chicken!) Like I said tho if it weren't for Tabitha then I would not even go back. Every other carhopper I have had, 1. Slow. 2. Marks the order as on the way when it clearly is not on the way. 3. Not very friendly and 4. The manager that I asked for one night, she came outside to refund my money because the order was completely cold and the sauced bbq chicken was more like drizzled. when she went inside she never came back out with my refund. She finally did after I had to call for her again. She said she thought I paid with card when my receipt clearly said cash. I could understand that maybe they struggle to keep good help because nobody wants to work nowadays but I don't understand making the customer think their order is in the way when it's not! Ā Ā Ā Read moreSonic has been in my life over 40 yrs. From cruisin around the loop as a teenager grabbing a peanut butter/banana milkshake to taking my baby to taking my pups for a scoop of ice cream.
The last couple of visits to our local Sonic have really broke my heart. Service was so slow with very few cars in the lot, not during a busy time or times when specials were in effect. Couldn't get staff to answer intercom. I along with others left without ordering. The second time I got service right away but my burger was not tthroughly cooked. The last time I stopped with my pups, we got our ice cream to go. We came home to eat it since it was too hot to eat in the car.
I fed them their ice cream and took a big gulp of my Butterfinger blast only to discover they had used sour milk to make it.
