COVID has really impacted the service of restaurants/fast food drastically this year; to the point where I’m constantly questioning if I should even bother getting food these days. And if even slightly you wonder if you should take the chance on going to THIS Taco Bell in Owensboro during this climate; just ride right past it and go to McDonald’s or any other establishment on Parrish. Cause you’re not gonna get what you’re looking for here.
I was ignorant and hopeful enough to try this at 2:00 in the morning. My mother ordered the doritos locos tacos in a box with three drinks which came out to 46 bucks. We get home and we unwrap it and believe it they were soft tacos. No. They were all soggy and wet Doritos tacos. The sodas all flat.
Here’s the other part that’s disheveling. If you’re scared of COVID and haven’t been vaccinated. Don’t come here. Even if you don’t care. This place is unprofessional. An employee came out while we were outside of the establishment to return the food. He went to grab the cash and return it. While waiting, there’s a group of people outside of the establishment coming and going out of the restaurant as they please despite the “lobby being closed”.

Read moreWhomever was working on the night of Monday, January 18th, 2021 at around 1:15 AM deserves to be terminated and barred from the food services industry immediately. We believe that the employee working the drive thru was actively sabotaging the orders of their patrons and our DoorDash customers in order to close the restaurant prematurely and run up the clock for the remainder of their shift. When we pulled up to the drive thru speaker and told the employee that we had 2 orders, they immediately told us those orders did not exist in a highly confrontational and antagonistic tone. Upon contacting DoorDash's support hotline, we learned that those orders did in fact exist and that they have heard several complaints of this nature coming from this particular location. While on the phone with the support hotline, we saw the restaurant shut off its lights and shut down its drive thru 30 minutes before its official closing time. Absolutely horrible staff, terrible management, and no human being that cares remotely about quality should do business with this Taco...
Read moreSeemed like this place was being ran by elementary kids. I had placed an order through the app 10 minutes before arriving. When I got there I could tell they were busy due to the drive through line. When I walked in I could see roughly 6 people ahead of me and 4 people standing waiting on their food. I waited another 10 minutes before a worker came and said she had no idea how long it was going to take to get food out. I then asked if they could just cancel my order because I had some place to be and already had been waiting 20 minutes. I then saw a “manager” walking around with a clip board. She was helping in no way and told me “they never taught her that”. Well how about you figure it out. Please if you’re going to go to Taco Bell go to a different location.
Update 4 days later and still have to heard from corporate or anyone about my refund and I’ve submitted probably 7 complaints through the app...
