Kroger — Local services in Owensboro

Have tried shopping here twice now for convenience and the deals but now I see why they have so many deals. First time I got Stuck in the line because the cashier made a simple mistake since he was new the manager was so rude and ridiculous acting about the whole situation he accidentally didn’t scan an item but put it in a bag at the very bottom of the bag and then into the bottom of my cart and she came over and was checking everything noticed it was missing or something I’m not even sure. But the whole thing took over 30 minutes to get resolved and I was the one to resolve the problem by asking if I could just go grab another one to scan and then put it back all my frozen food was completely thawed out by time I got home and I live less than 5 minutes away but I decided it was an accident and figured it was fine. This second time I decided to try a pick up order opposed to going inside and i absolutely will never be doing that again. They use more durable bags for pick up but when they cram an entire 80 dollar order into 3 bags they all broke as I was coming up the stairs. So that was lovely. I also ordered like fresh fruits and it looks like they went and chose the most rotten old ones they could and sent those out to me which sure I can’t really complain much about that since I didn’t go inside and pick them myself but the bag of oranges I received should have been in the garbage more than half of them were rotten and oozing everywhere then one of the watermelons was brown and soft on one side and completely rotten on the inside so I ended up having to trash that also the food had been sitting out not chilled the entire time I chose to pick up between 1-2 and at 12:30 they said the order was ready and I was busy because I chose to get it between 1-2 not 12-1? And like I said I live 5 minutes away and when I got everything in the house the frozen pizza was not cold anymore it was completely thawed out and had been long enough that the box it came in was drenched from sweat im assuming and the pizza legit slid out of the box and onto the floor because the glue was so wet that it wasn’t sticky anymore. At this point the deals don’t matter because I’ve had to replace more food than what the deals covered. Also if the items are out of stock they automatically switch it to be delivered and don’t inform you as far as I could tell. Cause I was wondering where the rest of my order was and it was switched to be delivered instead but they still charged me for them and then wanted me to pay again to have them delivered. No thanks. This will be the last time I will ever use Kroger and maybe they aren’t all bad but this one’s kinda...

I came in at 6am today (10/17/21) & couldn't find glaze donuts, as almost nothing was out on display. The young guy in bakery couldn't help me, so I asked him to get the lady I could see behind the counter, and possibly she could. She automatically, no preamble, upon reaching the counter & began speaking to me very slowly (like I had low comprehension levels), with long pauses after every word. When I asked her not to speak to me like I was remedial, she informed me I could complain the (no manager at this hour), bc she had orders that had to go out & didn't have time to deal with me. She the proceeded to walk away talking to herself (negatively/belligerently) about me to herself. If this is how I am going to be treated for asking for assistance from an employee, from now on, I will be waiting for Priceless to open. Due to your unghastly rude employee, Kroger just lost a lifelong loyal customer today. And from reading your reviews, seems I'm not the only one that...

The Spectrum people are the bane of my shopping experience here. Even if you tell them you already have them, they try to upsell you more. So far they have blocked the way out with people trying to get by/politely decline, but the nicer people stay and indulge them which blocks the exit. They have tried setting up in the main entrance next to the carts, which caused a lot of panic of people just trying to get in/out while dodging their Jehovah witness behavior Now they are currently set up next to the pharmacy and harassing all the older folks.
