Found 2 excellent pieces we loved. They were helpful from the start and up to when an issue want fixable. About 2-3 weeks after we got the sofa, one of the reclining mechanisms was messed up and sometimes get hung up on another metal piece. We called to let them know and they came out to look and work on it. They didn’t bring their own tools, I’m not sure why.
It was a temporary fix. About 2-3ish weeks later it was happening again. I called them back and Skip had two employees pick it up. They bright it back about an hour later. I tested it with 2 of his movers in my house and it would do it occasionally. One employee sat in it and it didn’t do it, but would grind on metal. He said he didn’t hear it. I could hear it just fine. It wasn’t acceptable. He called Skip and was told I would have to talk to him.
I did as suggested and he told me they “tested it 100 times.” He proceeded to imply that I was doing something to make it not work properly. Here’s a question. Why would I mess up our couch we are purchasing? That’s idiotic my dude.
I told him exactly what was going on and was basically shrugged off saying they couldn’t find an issue. I’m saying it’s just a faulty piece of furniture and wanted a replacement.

Thousands of dollars worth of business, to be treated with disrespect and lied too. Products delivered damaged, built improperly upon arrival, and one product delivered in the wrong color. No apologies, no remedies for several of the issues. The product that was delivered in the wrong color was returned, the owner made the claim it was a mistake by the manufacturer, but showed me a receipt that showed he’d ordered the wrong product. Assured me it would be corrected on the next shipment, that shipment didn’t come after several months and he finally emailed me that it would be best to give me a refund for the item. I called to discuss this with him and he hung up the phone on me once I exclaimed my displeasure with how he has treated me as a customer. I took myself to his place of business to get a refund for my product since he refused to answer my calls and was cussed upon arrival and told that I had no rights as a consumer to the product I had already paid for. He promptly gave me a refund once I was onsite.
I recommend to any and everyone to stay away from this guy and his place of business. If it arrives damaged he will not take responsibility, if you’ve paid for it and it never arrives, he will not take...
