River City Pawn — Local services in Owensboro

Went in to the pawn shop today I’m not sure who was in there but they would not take my GoPro hero 8 I had everything with it the battery’s are charged and they said they couldn’t take it because the batteries have to be 50 percent but they never put the batteries in the even check them I also had a brand new Apple Watch Series 8 I had only worn 5 times that had never been connected to a phone or locked in anyway they would not take it I personally think they should have a sign posted that tell customers what they are not excepting on the door and if they need a certain battery percentage on certain things I feel like that should also be posted on the door the employees were kinda nice at first when we got there but not long after one guy was really rude they could have at least put the batteries in the cameras and tested them they offered me 60 for the camera and they go for 250-300 dollars used I’ve never used it so they are a rip off and a scam I will never go here again for anything they have terrible customer service they are rip-offs and if I was a new person debating on going there I would definitely not do it I would try a different place or try to sell stuff yourself for the price you know your stuff is worth I’m not trying to be mean or rude but they made me a little mad because I took in over a thousand dollars worth of stuff and they offered 120 for 2 brand new GoPro cameras with everything extra I bought with them brand new they were $900 and they were never used I took them out of the package put it in the case and put...

Horrible experience with the store manager Stetson Walker. His rudeness toward us for asking a simple question resulted not only in a dispute between him and I but also resulted in 2 other customers leaving the store refusing to ever shop there again due to his actions. I was insulted, cussed at, and embarrassed by him in front of my kids while he controlled the narrative and called me the crazy on. I of course had to make a police report, apon the arrival of the cops Mr. Stetson changed his story and now admitted to the police he was the one out of line and I did nothing wrong to him. He then was embarrassed and fixed the issue that was his fault to begin with.
