Mi Ranchito Taqueria — Restaurant in Owensboro

(Update) I have not been here in a while. Been checking out other Mexican taqueria/restaurants. I stopped in today for lunch and got a taco salad and Dr Pepper. I am never disappointed with the flavor or portion size here. The taco salad wasn't huge or small about a medium sized salad perfect for a lunch on the run. This is a taqueria (taco shop), a neighborhood spot for a quick bite. I was charged $16.00+ (not including tip) for this lunch. I was shocked! It doesn't cost this much at El Bracero, or Papa Grande! I did not expect this. Had I been looking to spend this kind of money, I would have gone to a nice restaurant. I could probably eat here everyday. It's quick, doesn't cost an arm and a leg and the food is mouth watering delicious. No seriously, check this place out now! The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and it's cheap enough that you can order a lot of items to try out the menu and not break the bank. I'm glad I tried things I wasn't familiar with because it's some of my favorite dishes now. I don't remember the name of what I ordered off the top of my head but it was a shrimp/jalapeño plate with beans and rice and the tortas are out of this world good!...

Our first time at that location. Its alot different than the other location. It more traditional Mexican food. It was really good though. Although i do like the other location better just because of the atmosphere and the menu choice is more to my personal taste.
