Wellness Eats Cafe´ — Restaurant in Owosso

I don't normally leave reviews, good, bad or indifferent but everyone needs to be made aware of what a joke this place is. Absolutely terrible all the way around! Ordered the strawberry apple salad online in June. When I went to pick it up I was told that they didn't have that salad (even though it was on their website) because it is seasonal ??? I mean it is June & not November & I can locate strawberries everywhere, but ok...I guess. I requested they make the salad without strawberries. For $12.00 I received a small bowl of mostly spinach leaves, a few walnuts, some chia seeds, chopped red onion (that I specifically asked to be left off), some apple shavings (not even thick enough to call slivers, slices or chunks) & 1 golf ball size chunk of blue cheese. Bonus...they threw in an ice COLD chiabatta type roll. Oh and the strawberry vinaigrette dressing was heavy on the vinegar and had the consistency of chunky applesauce. In addition to the horrible food, the service was equally as bad. I was sitting in their eating area waiting for my order to be completed & the employee is standing at the counter 6 feet from me screaming "Stephanie"..."Stephanie"..."STEPHANIE!" When I looked up I realized she was trying to get my attention I responded with, "my name is Kelly" please don't get frustrated with me if I don't respond to you right away because you're calling me by the wrong name! To start with, I rarely post reviews unless I deem it necessary. In this case it is very necessary. I decided today to take my Fiancé and her friend to lunch here. You would think to yourself who in their right mind would want to eat at a hospital? (due to us having a baby it was close and we were hungry lol) well let me tell you with the very modern design the walk in is very approachable and comfortable. The ladies working were super kind and super courteous. We ordered our food online and showed up early and they were kicking it into the highest gear possible to give us our food not only quickly but efficiently as well. Now to go onto the look and the flavor of the food. I ordered personally a Caesar chicken wrap add bacon. I went to big salad and got a take out, not only was the chicken salad gross it made me very sick after. They sent me a email asking about my feed back and they called me the next day asking my name and why I said the salad was dirty (which it had black dirt in it) I did not have any dressing either and how there salads are never dirty and why I would say it made me sick when it’s clearly something else I ate that day. I yet have said a word, when I started talking I told the lady I am not going to argue about a salad.
