Shiawassee Arts Center — Attraction in Owosso

I really wanted to be in a pottery class that started mid September. I called in August. They said they would call me to sign me up when someone who was out sick returned. No call. When I called back the class was already in progress and I got the same excuse. Someone wasn't feeling quite right and they would call me when the next class starts. I don't know if they have a new director, but they've gone down hill. Not just from this experience

This place is certainly a hidden gem as many have insisted. Almost seems out of place slightly based on what I expect in this town. However, i believe it shouldn't be that way, and I'm trying to have a more positive opinion of owosso. Took my son in for some of the youth art classes and the place is seriously a hidden gem. Walking through the top floor is beautiful. The displays are beautifully set up, the lighting is wonderful, and the layout is neat. The lady working was very nice. The art classes are fun for the kids and the instructor is extremely patient.
