Came in looking for something tasty and refreshing after a 9-mile hike. Ordered a Deluxe Deli Original and a Maple Ganache cookie. I scarffed down the cookie - which was heavenly, and I only slightly regretted not savoring it.
The sandwich was delivered to me at my bar seat by the same pleasant moustachioed gentleman who took my order. Now, I should have gotten it to go... I've got as much of a hike to go, but I figure I'll stop at a convenience store to pick up some snacks for the road, and end up taking that sandwich down with a quickness only a starving young lad as myself mid-hike can do. It was - of course - delectable, and more than filled me up.
I finished off my visit by picking a vanilla flavored coffee to go, which rivals the best of any chain on the corner elsewhere; and beats the crap outta the Timmy's across the street!
I'll be back, if only just for the cookie...but I'll pick up another sandwich and coffee while I'm at it, rest assured. EXCELLENT...
Read moreWe've been looking for a good place for breakfast for a while now. FOUND IT! From the varied menu, delicious food, incredible staff and very reasonable prices, this place hits all the marks! I had a three egg omelette, which starts out with cheese, for $6.50. You can add from a list of veggies, cheeses and meats for a nominal fee and it comes with toast and homemade blueberry or strawberry jam. I ordered hash browns as well and everything was delicious! Huge portions, I ended up bringing at least half of it home. My friend had eggs, ham and toast and they brought a ham slice as big as her plate! We both ordered a specialty coffee that was yummy and large for only $3.99. It was all so good. It really hit the spot. We met the owner and her sister, who were very gracious. We'll definitely be back and recommend it...
Read moreOrdered a half Reuben as the whole was $14, which made me assume it was quite a large portion. It is not, it was literally a half of a regular sized sandwich, like you would serve a child for a snack. The sandwich was mostly bread. The bread was not great, grilled but cold somehow. A tiny bit of meat that was about as good as something from a package at the grocery store and the cheese was about as good. Pop was way overpriced like any other restaurant and the bag of chips that is not included in price was $1.50 for a tiny bag that comes from the variety packs. I spent almost $13 to leave hungry and dissatisfied. This place is terrible and would not recommend and will...
