Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Oxford Township

This incident occured on 10/03/2025, closing shift. The reason for the delayed comment is because Ive been waiting for Corporate (yes, I'm aware this is a franchise), to call me back after their investigation. And I apologize for the long post, but I don't understand how employees can behave the way they do over a question.

My friend had a free pizza in the app, she ordered that pizza, and another pizza. She thought she could use her free pizza with the coupon, but didn't realize because it was considered a free pizza it didn't register as a free pizza. When asking about the price change or increase, the young man, who was beyond polite and courteous went to get someone from the back. When this older woman came to the counter, she was beyond passive aggressive, she was annoyed, and rolled her eyes before asking, what's the issue ?? When Nikki was explaining her question and what happened, she cut Nikki off and told her verbatim, your not getting your pizza for free, if you don't have the funds to pay, were not altering prices. That's when I stepped in and mentioned to her that I was paying the bill, and that I'm fully capable of paying for our meal. Just was trying to ask a question, wasn't even being rude, or trying to cause an issue. We genuinely wanted to know where we messed up. Because we literally use this place to order for the shop. This woman, began to tell us to GTFO and take our free pizza. When I asked for a supervisors number she said gtfo out or I'm calling the police. I advised her I would wait outside. She then began to tell dispatch while waiting that she was in fear for her life, that I had tattoos on my face, a weapon in my pocket, that I was trying to harm her, that Nikki was in her face, that we were threatening her. Never once did I threaten her, get irrate, make her feel as though she was in harms way. Nikki was on the phone with her husband, and she was acting like she was being jumped. 8 cops rolled deep thinking we had came to a pizza shop to assault someone over a pizza. Never had an issue before that night, and frequently visited this dominos, now I'm trespassed along with Nikki for asking a question. And before anyone says well what did you do. Tried this place for the first time last night. Being a Friday night, I expected a wait. It was way longer than I had expected. It took an hour, but the staff were all inside busting their butts off, they were just that busy. I would maybe suggest turning the phone off next time they get that busy, it was nuts in there. Tons of people waiting inside for their food to be done, wait times were far from accurate, and the phones just kept ringing. I felt bad for the staff having to run around like that.
