Amended *Got the chance to hit up R&B recently after hearing some solid buzz and having a serious craving for dumplings and lemme just say you should def stop by!
This is a hidden gem w/o a doubt!.... located in a rather trendy lil shopping center that has a few other shops that seem to constantly be busy. The layout of the restaurant is a bit small but feels modern and along the vein of a traditional noodle house.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive checking on us repeatedly throughout the meal so that was a plus and every looked clean and inviting.
My company and I placed and order of the TFC (Taiwanese Fried Chicken)
The spicy chicken and corn dumplings
Scallion Pancakes
And the pork soup dumplings...
Lets start w/the TFC...wow was this a killer app to kick things off. Crunchy and flavorful while delivering on a bunch of fronts this one is a winner. My only knock might be that it was a bit salty, nonetheless it rly was a homerun.
The scallion pancakes tend to be just the right kinda fried crispy sidekick that brought an added dimension to the rest of the food we ordered. When theyre not too greasy
The spicy chicken dumplings were probably the only let down but simply because I felt they weren't spicy hot enough. The flavor was outstanding but for an extra $1.50 I could do w/o the hot chili dipping sauce.
Now for the soup dumplings, The consume was clear and clean and the flavors were outstanding ...I definitely recommend getting the julienned ginger as thats what put these over the top for me. Bite a lil hole on top n let the steam out, dump some chili oil n ginger in there n slap ya self silly with flavor!!
All in all this was one of the best meals of the year so far and I'll be sure to come back to check out the ramen being a noodler!*
Checked out the ramen and while the quality is very high on the ingredients I was not a big fan of the traditional styles they had because of one key ingredient menma (the fermentation on this one is not pleasant to me) and it's very over powering, will avoid from here on out. The braised beef soup is a...
Read moreI’ve had the pleasure of visiting R&B Ramen N Bao multiple times. The interior is meticulously maintained, creating a pleasant dining environment. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or dining in, the cleanliness adds to the overall positive experience.
R&B Ramen N Bao offers an enticing menu that caters to both ramen enthusiasts and bao lovers. I’m partial to the Curry Ramen with Fried Chicken, a fusion of Japanese ramen and Indian-inspired curry is surprisingly harmonious. The fried chicken adds a highly satisfying crunch. My other go to dish is the R&B Signature Ramen. From the perfectly cooked noodles to the well-seasoned broth, it’s a symphony of taste.
Let’s not forget about the dumplings. Some of my favorites are the Black Truffle & Pork Soup Dumplings. The broth inside is savory and aromatic. The delicate balance between the truffle essence and the tender pork elevates these dumplings to a must-try status. My second favorite are the Pork & Chives Dumplings. These dumplings are a simple yet classic choice. The combination of well-seasoned ground pork and fresh chives creates a harmonious flavor profile. Pair these dumplings with a steaming bowl of ramen, and you’ve got yourself a winning meal.

Read moreI have been here 5 times now both pick up and sit down. The food has been amazing and the atmosphere is great. The inside is very very clean. I do not like writing negative reviews however the service in person is great but over the phone 1 star would be to much. Both times i ordered over the phone it was very very rushed and I could hardly get a question in. This most recent time the phone call was so rushed and with the language barrier we misunderstood each other. I know that can happen and it is what it is. When i showed up i noticed my order had additional items that i did not ask for. When I told the gentleman i did not ask for them I got the worst attitude and he got so mad. When i said I'm not sure what happened but sorry he snapped at me saying I should have listened better. Normally I would have said whatever and taken the additional items if they are small however it was 3 more things of ramen. I still tipped 20% because maybe he was having a bad day and not tipping is just rude. When he came back after he removed the other items my food was basically thrown at me. I didn't check it and when i got home one of the lids was off and half of the broth leaked out. I was really enjoying a ramen place being so close and i was sending all my friends there. However reguardless of how good their dumplings are i may just drive the extra 20 minutes...
