Four and a half stars!! First, let me apologize for forgetting to take pics before we began eating!! The food was very good; but please allow me to make a couple of comments based on mostly personal preference. The Cole slaw and the honey mustard were too heavy handed with the vinegar. I don't care for any but can tolerate some. I could not eat either with such heavy concentration of the vinegar. The chicken tenders were very tasty and the cheese biscuits were divine! My husband had the grilled chicken salad and it was good even though the greens were much too bulky and hard. There were lettuce cores in the salad. The sweet tea was a bit on the weak side but the coffee was very good. The salad was much prettier before being drowned in Ranch dressing as was the baked potato before being stirred to pieces 😁. The presentation of the food was excellent! Our server, Rose was extremely good; very professional! She was friendly but not intrusive, helpful and attentive with a sweet attitude. The dining room is really outdated and tired. It was a bit too dark and the music too loud. Music should never drown out conversation and this was not quite that bad but needs to be lowered. That said, the whole place, including the restrooms was very clean and neat. We were there in mid-afternoon so there were not many customers. Our food was brought to us quickly and was hot and fresh. Over all, it was a very nice experience and we will certainly stop back by next time we are in the area! This was the Anniston, Alabama location.

They have definitely gone up on prices, just like everywhere else, and gone down on the quality of food. The flounder used to be thick and fluffy, but now it's very thin, and mostly crust, instead of fish. The cheddar biscuits are half the size they used to be. Check out my photos, and you will see what I mean. They still have "Endless Shrimp" for $20., So that's still a good deal. But, I've always ordered the fried flounder, but I am no longer interested in Red Lobster's flounder, and disappointed in their famous biscuits now. I was truly disappointed. And, like everywhere else, they do not have enough servers, so you have to wait longer than usual for everything. Our server was very friendly and apologized, but it wasn't her fault, it was Red Lobster's fault. We got seated right away, because we got there as soon as they opened on Sunday at 11, but as others came in, they had long waits, although there were plenty of tables empty. Just not enough help....I probably won't go back to this Red Lobster, although it's been my go to, for many years. I will just wait and try a different one, and see if it's any better.

The owner is dishonest and con artist. My family ate there 06/09/2024z my son ordered chicken fingers , little did we know the chicken fingers were green in the inside. My son ate them and he didn’t feel well. We immediately made a trip to the nearest ER for testing. The next day we followed up with the doctor and he was prescribed medicine for the food-borne illness. I contacted the owner and he stated he will make a claim on the insurance. I had to call week after week. Finally I got in touch with the corporate office and the owner finally emailed me with the claim information on June 27th. I called the adjuster of the claim several days , weeks , no return call. Today I finally got in touch with the manager and she stated the claim Red Lobster’s owner made was it was an incident with no loss. We did take a loss paying medical bills and my 6 year old son getting sick! Red Lobster if this is who you employ, you need to reevaluate , people like him are the reason the company is bankrupt. You reap what you sow .

We had actually pulled into the exit with the intent to go to a different place and excitedly decided on the Red Lobster when we saw the sign. I wish we had went with our original plan. The best thing about our experience was the waiter. I believe his name was Brantley. He was great at his job and I heard him treat each and every one of his tables with the same enthusiasm and kindness. That being said, when we were seated, I took quick notice that my booth seat was peeling and broken, and the table had a level of stickiness about it that felt like it had not been properly cleaned since around 2007. My partner commented on the dirtiness of the windowsill. Then our beloved Cheddar Bay Biscuits came out. They were ā€œmehā€ and definitely could have been warmer. We ordered. I ordered grilled trout, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and he ordered the lobster linguini. We got our food in a reasonably quick amount of time. His lobster in the linguini looked like someone had already chewed it up and spit it back into the pasta. The sauce looked way too watery and did not have the tomatoes that that particular pasta recipe uses. The Brussels sprouts were the best thing we got. They were absolutely deliciously seasoned with just the right amount of char and crispiness, and the sauce is to die for. The mash was good, reminded me of my mom’s. My trout was not seasoned. The skin, which is usually the best and tastiest part for me, was soggy/slimy and about 3 bites in, I found a hair. I was just done after that. It made my stomach roll. We did let the waitstaff know that there was a problem and they were generous enough to give us a discount, which we never would have asked for, but did very much appreciate. I am just disappointed in our experience. Red Lobster used to be a favorite place for both of us and we were excited. Also, I hope this is a message to the owners that there is a problem with the restaurant but with some work and training it can get to where it needs to be. We love RL and just don’t want to see...

Big disappointment coming here. Where do I start? How about my mother got a coffee and it was luke warm and when i nicely asked the waitress if we can get a fresh cup that is hot (because who wants old cold coffee for $3.50) she snapped "That was just made 10 minutes ago" LET ME introject with even if you feel that its fresh, she should still have taken the coffee and poured a fresh cup and not argued about it my god you couldn't even feel the heat is she would have taken the time to check. Also it took 20 min to get a new coffee and it was steaming and you could actually smell it, so an actual fresh brew as anyone who drinks coffee can tell. We ordered white wine and mussels appetizer. It came out with our steak entrees and it was not hot and at least half the mussels were not even opened. We asked maybe for something to open them with and steak sauce. The waitress said shruggingly sure I guess there is something and walked away and WE NEVER SAW HER AGAIN! She never came back ! Finally another woman came over about 20 minutes later and brought me a refill drink so i asked her for a box because our steaks were cold now and I told her we never got steak sauce and ALSO my mother never got her baked potato! You know what they said? They ran out they had to microwave a potato? Are you charging people $25 plate with microwaved potatoes? Listen when I tell you I will NEVER eat here again. WORSTE waste of $70 in my life I couldn't even eat it. My mother told me that even her water tasted funny and after that experience I believe her whole heartedly. P.S. a family at the table next to us also complained to the manager and then when they heard me they told me they messed up everything. Their medium rare steak was completely cooked and her fish was dry and dust and they also were not told about the potatoes and waited till they left for microwaved in a to go box! Absolutely never had such...

I’ve been to this location several times but my last experience topped it off and I’ll never be back. Long story short...there was some kinda bug in my broccoli and I notice after taking at least two serving of the broccoli. I let the waitress know there was a bug in my food; she took a look, apologized, and took the plate away. It brought me a new page late with the same sides. I’m still bothered and did not take another bit of any of the food...needless to say i had the endless shrimp. Waitress asked several times ā€œcan I get you some more or some else?ā€. The offer was declined. Waitress brings out a ticket with a $5 discount because ā€œof the issue with you foodā€ and I’m still puzzled. Eventually i asked to speak with the manager on duty which was Pamela Williams; I made it known there was an issue with my food and an insect in my broccoli. She went in defense mood and said ā€œthere was no bug in your food; she (the waitress) showed me your food; it was the seasoning.ā€ After showing her the picture I had taken of the plate, it changed to ā€œwell that’s not what I sawā€. And proceeded with asking me ā€œwell what can I do for you?ā€. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with the way they handle this situation and I asked for the general manger information. Pamela said she would get me that information and never return to give it to me. Then the waitress brings out a small plate with a piece of broccoli asking me ā€œcan I see the picture you showed my managerā€ and trying to convince me the broccoli on her plate and my picture is similar and it’s the ā€œseasoningā€.

I’ve worked in the food industry and I know mishaps like this can happen at any restaurant I attend. But the way the staff handled this matter alone is beyond meeting the expectations of a business and customers. I filed a complaint with corporate as well as the...
