The Thirsty Ox — Restaurant in Oxnard

This has potential to be popular only problem is some of the Bartenders seem to ignore women who they don't know. I like to go here on way home or when I'm the driver for people I know who are drinking. I come to have a soda. I have stopped telling people to go here. The Bartenders who are here now totally ignore me when I come in. Tonight I timed her 12min. Only reason she finally served me was because 3 guys came in and she had to go by me to serve them. I have been going to that spot for over 10 years, when it was jollies.. not going to lie, I loved jollies but wasnt the same when it became Thirsty ox. So i desided to go tonight after hearing there was new owners and let me tell u, I was able to meet both new owners and they are so awesome, friendly and make it there priority to know u.. there bartenders are attentive and very friendly. Bartenders are great, beer selection is decent but ambiance is on a downward slope. When it rebranded to Thristy Ox I had very high hopes for this place. Crowd was very eclectic and fun. Younger to older​, a very representative swath of what Oxnard truly looks like but visit after visit it seems to be reverting back to Jolly's. Older crowd only playing old school.
