Visited the drive-through for a mixed fried chicken dinner. I found the chicken, a bit on the small side, but really tasted good. The so-called sides were so small that you almost can't see them. See photos. The mashed potatoes and gravy were terrible along with the slaw. The person at the window acted like she really didn't want to be there and so tried not to speak. She gave me my two boxes to hold on the way home with no bag. Price $ okay once, but I'm not sure I want to try this again for a while. You need to make sure the customer is appreciated when taking their money. Good Luck! UPDATE: 4/1/25 I thought I would visit once more and see if customer service has improved. I ordered a 10 piece with large BBQ beans and large potato salad. One of the workers boxed up my chicken and then told me they were out of large potato salad, but they would give me four small ones in place. For goodness sake, it's 2:30 in the afternoon. I got home, and my wife and I empty the bag to find we did not get our potato salad but instead only got four tiny cups of coleslaw. We don't like their coleslaw. With the exception of the dried out breast, the rest of the chicken is smaller than an Ozark Crow. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST of any in Ozark AL. I was hoping for a better impression than the...
Read moreCrowe’s is one of the best chicken places around and I was excited to get chicken here because I have recently moved back to the area. I get on google to check to see what time Crowe’s closes it says 8pm. Then I get on yelp and it says 7pm so, I pull up at 6:45 thinking I have plenty of time. Nope the sign says closed and the kitchen is completely shut down. Having worked in the fast food/restaurant industry my owners and managers would’ve murder me for closing 30 seconds early let alone 15-30 minutes early. It’s just disappointing and the times of closing needs to be updated on both google and yelp. The only reason they got 3 stars is because my big back would die for some of their chicken and Crowe’s sauce because it...
Read moreWe drove from Dothan just for the sole purpose of trying the new Crowe's and waited over an hour in the drive thru...they kept locking and unlocking the lobby door...not real sure why, but it definitely was not open until closing time or we would have just gone inside to order.
At one point close to closing, orange cones were placed behind our car, which we assumed meant we should be the last in line to get served. We got to the window and were told they were closed. When my husband explained to the lady at the window about the cones, they were all of a sudden out of chicken and both fryers were broken.
I'm a Troy native, so I was so excited to have a Crowes near me. I'll never go here again. Brundidge isn't that...
