I’m a registered nurse and I know Starbucks has the free tall coffee promotion going on right now, so I went at 5:15 pm on 5/16/20 and the male cashier with dark hair refused to honor the promotion. He said it’s only for first responders in uniform. I went to pick up coffee before work, not in uniform but I showed him my ID badge from Stanford Hospital. He still refused to honor it. I don’t have time while at work to go to Starbucks to get coffee... and the Starbucks website doesn’t say we have to be in uniform . Very rude guy. I don’t like to wear my scrubs in public., a picture ID from work clearly indicated I’m a nurse. I had to wait in like 15 minutes just to be turned down. Wouldn’t recommend this...
