I will never go to this Taco Bell again. There was about 8 staff members standing there watching the new training kid mess up my order for about 15 minutes. Drive-thru window served about 10 cars while I stood there after placing my order waiting for this poor kid to continue to humiliate himself on the same two items. Could not imagine what was going through this other staff members heads as the manager, assistant manager, two cashiers, three line Cooks, and someone just coming in clocking in stood there watching and talking about what they plan to do that evening in that weekend. I got my full refund back on the spot before they can finish my order as I had been in the store for 20 minutes and not received a single bite to eat. Caught a lot of backlash from the different people in the back as they did not understand my criticism as I told them how it is. I get vocal when I see stuff going horribly wrong in the food industry as I've been in the food industry for quite some time and understand the workings of it as well as anyone else who works in the food industry. Do not go here if you want to get a bite to eat by staff members that make food in a timely fashion. I do not recommend going to the store especially on the fact that everyday there are less and less trainable workers we are left with this mishmash soy filled generation of unmotivated and heavily distracted kids who are hired in as so-called employees. Especially night shift cause their behavior/attitude at 2:20 PM on a Monday is sickening. Painesville Taco Bell literally hires anybody. Mike is a horrible manager/supervisor he should still be a regular employee for the way he enabled their behavior. He didn’t even fix my order. Why pay him more if he too acts and behaves as a teenager and not a mature adult. I understand defending your team but I did nothing to receive horrible treatment and rude remarks / unpleasant behavior. Idk what his position is cause he took a second to even give me his name (first he said he was mark and I know mark bc I’m a local) so Mike may not even be his name. I recently placed a door dash order tonight at 8pm. 2 dashers names came across. Finally when then 2nd one came up she was told that my order was already handed out “an hour ago right before I locked the doors at 8:30”. When I didn’t even place the order an hour before the dasher called me. The night manager Tia was rude and told me she handed it to someone else and I had to re order in order for her to do anything. First of all why is the store closing the doors at 8:30 and if you cared about your customers you would just offer to remake it without any issues, that’s what Marcus would have done. He’s the best manager that store has. I know it’s just fast food but for the amount they are paid they should care a little more.
