Green Lake Chinese Food — Restaurant in Painesville

This is my go-to Chinese joint. First of all, holy crap are they fast! The food is made to order, and is always prepared quickly. Pricing is average for a Chinese food takeout place. What makes them even better? THEY DELIVER FOR FREE (just be sure to tip!) They are LITERALLY at my doorstep with piping hot Chinese food in under 15 minutes from when I hang up the phone from placing the order! If you live in the area, then you've probably seen the green lake delivery car flying around town. I have never gotten sick afterwards like some reviewers have mentioned, and the food is always cooked thoroughly ( I check to make sure). Customer service over the phone is what you'd expect when talking to someone who's first language is not English, but seriously, it wouldn't be an authentic chinese food experience without the language barrier....

Called to place an order for delivery, my very first time ordering from Green Lake, I am new to the area. The guy that answered the phone was incredibly rude. I ordered wontons and he asked me, small or large. I said, what is the quantity for each? He said "small or large" I just said that! I thought, hmmm okay. Then he told me he didn't like how I was talking, I wasn't talking loud enough for him and that's how he asked me to speak up. So, after we got through all of that and I finished my order, he said rudely, that's only $10, we won't deliver for that...it has to be at least a $20 order. I politely said, okay...Thank you. I hung up and gave Boston Market my $15 order. I will never order or attempt to order from this place again. Customer Service is huge for business and y'all failed big time...I don't care if the food is good or not....

We ordered tonight for the first time. My 79 year old father went to pick up the order and on his way out, he missed a step and fell, spilling his box of food and took a few hard scraps and bruises to his knees. The staff at the restaurant were so kind, helpful, and empathetic to his needs. A beautiful woman staff member, diligently tended to his bleeding knee while others prepared the food that spilled. He can't stop talking about how kind everyone was to him. People stopped and got out of their cars, a police office happened to notice. What a spectacal for sure. Thank you, kind people from Green Lake. Our dad is ok and our dinner was hot and wonderful. The dinners were all tasty and delicious. We will...
