Deserves no stars! DO NOT EAT HERE bug infestation! 3 of us went for dinner, we got the rib eye, 3 crunchy tacos, and pork roast in tomatillo sauce. The roast pork was the best, my rib eye was actually a flank steak cut thin and cooked way to long! No seasoning tasted like cardboard/leather! NOW TO THE TACOS! What mexican resturant can mess up tacos? They did apparently there was an infestation of large black hard bugs in their cheese! 2 of the three tacos had them in the tacos, we showed it to the waiter and he took the one taco away, after she had already ate one! as we were digging through the last taco, another one! One taco eaten with extra protein, the waiter assured us he would take care of it on our bill! Hr was so generous he took off 1 taco for our trouble! Was not good to begin with and insult to injury, paying for infested food! Not to mention the gnats and flies everywhere, there are not many options to eat in Cherokee, definitely skip this one! Two distinguishing statements about this place. 1] Its cleanliness rating was 96.5. 2] The toilets are VERY clean.

Food is good. Salsa was the worst salsa tested so far. The Salsa Roja was 100 times better than salsa they served. The way chorizo taco were served was the best noticed to the date (taco filled with chorizo meat, salsa roja and cilantro & onions separate). The pork in green salsa sauce was indeed a tasty option. I believe the meat was undercooked. However, the important factor was none of the preparation had excess oil - very important. The attendant and the cashier were the same person. Despite that, the service was quick. The tortilla chips were really ordinary (they should improve on that).

Id give 0 if possible. Must skip eating here. The first 2 times the food was amazing. This time it was BEYOND HORRIBLE. ACUTAL FOOD SICKNESS. First off we told them up front we wanted our food to go but would like to have a drink and some chips while we waited for our food. The server was beyond rude about this situation. I ordered queso and he never brought it. Never refilled our beer or chips and salsa. (I'm a good tipper and left 10.00 on a togo order.) Once we got our food and went back to our room (because our fur baby was with us hence the togo) No cutlery no sauce and one tiny bag of chips for 3 people.
