Burger King — Restaurant in Palatine Township

Horrible! I understand this is only fast food. But, the experience here is borderline demeaning. I entered the restaurant and attempted to order. I was completely ignored for over 10+minutes as I stood at the register. When I FINALLY spoke up; a dark, curly haired Hispanic teenager rolled her eyes at me and slowly walked over. No greeting. No hello. Not a single word. I asked her a question about the menu and she continued to give me the silent treatment. I couldn’t believe it? I wanted to cry, I’ve never been treated like this anywhere. I completed my order. And she walked away. Some time went by and I am not getting my food. There’s only 3 employees There girl, a male manager and a lady in the kitchen. They slowly push out orders for the drive thru only. Mind you the restaurant is completely empty with just me oddly standing there. I look down at my receipt and 17 MINUTES HAS PASSED. I finally sum up the courage to ask if I’m ever going to get my order. The manager looks over in shock ( as if he didn’t know I was there) and of course the girl who took my order. Stood at the food station continuing to ignore me,her back to me. As if me coming in for a burger had somehow offended her? She huffed and even giggled. Yet never turned around. The manager. Went back and made my order himself. He then had to come back around and package my order because apparently she was still ignoring me. She wasn’t busy, she just stood there, arms crossed with her back to me. I have never been treated like this anywhere. Which is why I made this review. Not acceptable. I am still sitting outside this restaurant in my car crying. Why people enjoy making others feel like this, I will never understand. Please, drive the extra mile to another...

This is our local Burger King. We keep trying to give them a chance to give us decent food. We dined in and asked for our burgers to be cooked fresh, that's not what we got. Obviously we were served burgers that were cooked the night before. My cheese was literally coagulating as if it had been put on the night before and left in the warming tray for 24 hours. I'm not sure what happened but we didn't get them. Both my wife and I worked in the fast food industry and we know the difference between fresh and left in the warming tray overnight. The employee who was working didn't seem to care and also complained about having to work 6 days a week. We were poisoned the last 3 times we ate there. I know this because I only eat once a day and all 3 times that was the only thing I ate all day. It gave me severe stomach acid and horrible diarrhea. I will NEVER go back again! This place needs to be closed PERMANETLY. We spoke to friends of ours who live in the area and all reported having a similar experience. It's a shame because its a good location and nice inside. Take my advice unless you want to get sick don't eat here. This is the next day and I am still burping up acid, although my diarrhea has subsided. Bacteria can grow on food within 45 minutes. BK is my favorite place for Vegetarian Burger, Very Flavorful, BIG patty, BIG bun, refreshing Lettuce/Tomato+ small kicking Onion... I love to spread a little less than 1/2 serving of Buffalo Sauce on top of the patty.
