Came through here quite a few times in both drive thru and walk-in with most recent visits being walk-in and just had to put up with the worst customer service, entitled, prejudicial, immature, childish, and all around lowly behavior on the part of the crew here. I walked in TODAY at about 12:30 pm expecting to be treated with dignity, respect, and the people to have basic interpersonal skills with a repeat customer that has been kind, respectful, and having shown interpersonal skills towards the crew (I nonetheless don't act like I need their acceptance or suck up to the girls for affirmation). I was literally ignored and treated with the most disgusting indignant attitude from the two younger girls, one of which is temporarily here for a break from college as she mentioned to me the day prior when she had basic interpersonal skills. Today I get ignored and extremely childish, entitled, indignant treatment by the first girl whom apparently did not want to serve me as a customer, so I told her to get someone else. Initially she simply walks away and ignores me more than comes back and refuses to get someone else to help me, this even after asking for a manager (seems that wouldn't change anything with how this place is).
Hence the cult, childish, victimhood mentality kicks in from the second girl and what they are paid to do is thrown out the window and replaced with tactics of mischaracterization, severe dismissive behavior, apparent smirks, talking over me like a robot, and all this was already after I was lied to my face by the first girl whom claimed she acknowledged me when she absolutely didn't. I mentioned lower amount of ice this time and to please do that since it was not done last time for my drink after asking. I mentioned the sudden attitude and disrespect today. I then get told they have better things to do then serve me (a customer) and have "work to do" from the second girl whom is apparently temporarily here from college with entitlement and arrogant ignorance to show for it. I absolutely had enough and justifiably let it be known with my words and purposeful tone. I can care less for some ridiculous pretensious disconnect, hurt ego from anyone when it comes down to this blantant discriminate treatment is thrown at me as simply a customer trying to get a basic service at Dunkin.
As someone from the area, whom is a veteran, and not ignorant, the entitled and blantantly prejudicial manner of treatment was disgusting. When I mentioned going to corporate, the girl showed no care and treated me like a joke. Maybe I should file a BBB complaint as well. There was nothing unreasonable or anything of any extreme circumstance to warrant this ignorant behavior. Just some egotistical employee(s) twisting the situation to get me to not come back because of their entitled, egotistical prejudice (race/gender/age/whatever). Get some quality people here and do what is needed to keep quality people.
Lack of interpersonal skills on the part of an employee is not a reason to deny service at a for-profit business that's open to the public that serves food and drink. Nothing of the situation or what I'm expecting goes against any religious beliefs or something unbelievably out of ordinary human interaction, this just simply goes against the self-absorption of the girls working here. Have been going to this location for over 16 years or so , never had a problem til today . Went through the drive thru order my food paid and had no problem . About 2 weeks ago I went to get a coffee tbh I don’t remember if I had order food so I give the lady my card and she hands back my card and my coffee . She said ok thank you . So I drive off , I looked at my bank statement and there’s no charge so I told my son listen I don’t think she charged me so I’m going to go back during the week and let her know . I forgot to go back so today I go and the same lady told the manager that’s the lady that didn’t pay . So I tell her yes I was just talking to my son about it can you check if my card went through cause I didn’t see no charge , so with an attitude she tells me to wait with her finger so I’m like ok . So she said what’s the issue so I explained and she walks away she said yes I have the receipt I said perfect I’ll pay for it just show me the receipt . She comes back and tells me here it is so I go ok let me check the receipt . She says no this is the one I have so she tells me what’s in the receipt I said no I don’t drink ice tea . She said well this is your receipt . I said no it’s not . She said well you’re the one that didn’t pay so , I said I have my card to your employee it’s not my fault she even waited and gave me my order . She said I’m charging you for 2 coffees then I said no show me my receipt and I’ll pay for it no problem . She said what you can’t afford to pay for 2 coffees . I said no I’m not paying for something that I didn’t get . I don’t mind paying for it just don’t make it seem like it’s my fault , it’s your employees fault . The way she was speaking to me in front of other people . Never felt more embarrassed my whole life . She kept on repeating well you can’t afford it . Read moreCome through here practically on a daily basis, bringing my money and patronage, just to deal with the continued blantant, prejudicial treatment by this establishment (older, female manager particularly). Two days in a row of unappreciative treatment by this family that owns this establishment. On 10/13, the older woman "manager" (what a joke) still goes out of her way to show disparaging treatment with blantant disrespectful behavior, not showing courtesy towards me as given to literally every other customer (saying thank you, have a nice day in dignified manner) and overall extremely disgruntled attitude and manner towards me, a white male whom is an individual of different experience with confidence from it. This so called manager obviously holds petty grudges (as does the family employees here) that is disgusting and childish. Apparently after bringing up constructive criticism they can't handle, you WILL get targeted with typical lefty nonsense.
Today (10/14) I ask for a small water and get handed a tiny Styrofoam cup of water and told it's one dollar for the actual small ice water if I want it (have gotten every visit prior with no issues, as I should). I deal with this after the prejudicial, indignant treatment on practically every visit reflecting their entitled, victimhood, prejudicial mindset and the lefty politics of the area that keeps this bs going. How disgusting and pathetic the people here can be.
CORPORATE WILL BE NOTIFIED REGARDLESS OF THIS BEING A FRANCHISE. Dunkin needs to be held to account as well for what goes on under their name as they rake in profits with no care for how these franchises are ran.
