Yesterday was the second time I went to this popeyes. Both times I endured major major attitudes from the staff. Yesterday I called in and ordered for 20 pieces of chicken 1/2 spicy half regular. I was about 18 minutes away when I called.
So I get up to the window and I tell them my name. And some lady was like what did you want?!!!
I said well I called in for 20 pieces of chicken. She said wit attitude WELL ITS GOING TO BE 10 mins!!!! I said ok. This is for the pick up. I said 10 mins unless you want all spicy. Well just to get out of there I said that fine I’ll take all spicy. You can tell once they closed the window they were clearly upset. WTH is wrong with people!!!!! I was there in March of 2023 and now yesterday. The same darn vibe. So I got back to my aunts with the chicken and told my aunt, who lives in palatine what had happened as if we were going to a chicken place asking for burgers and her response to me was “every time your uncle went in there he endured the same kind of attitude and would tell them he was going to talk to the manager. I will never ever go there again. Ever. No one should be treated as such. Smdh!!! Oh and btw the 20 pieces of spicy chicken were so dry we couldn’t even eat the 36 dollars worth. For how expensive fast food is these days staff should definitely work harder on being friendlier and realize if people didn’t buy the chicken they...
Read moreGave them 5 chances to redeem themselves, every times was worst than the last. No greeting when walk in, not even once. In fact it would be 5 or more minutes before even acknowledged. No one in restaurant, drive thru busy. Usually visible mopping or some other cleaning while waiting for acknowledgement. Maybe should help the customers over mopping. The second time after maybe 15 minutes came out to say "they ran out of chicken" ? What? I can see the heaping mountain of salmonella on the rack. Why take 15 minutes to let me know that tho anyway? 3rd time, was waiting in a line once again no acknowledgement. This time I wasn't alone, other customers were also waiting. Maybe 3 of us in line, a 4th guy walks right in walks right up to front, cut everyone and gets his food ? The rest of line was shocked and other customers stated if their food wasn't paid already they would of walked out. Finally, last time went in, once again, a cleaning circus was going on and was told "OUT OF CHICKEN"? It's popeyes! With visible chicken in sight? What on earth is going on here ? Once again waited 15 mins to be informed. Maybe corporate should come in and straighten this trash hole out. Would be nice to have some service and food, have some proper training and customer service training done on the staff. All 5 times did NOT even receive any food. Waste of time, don't even...
Read moreI am beginning to venture out with baby-steps (Covid) to once again eat at one of my favorite fastfood restaurant. I have never partially eaten a Popeyes meal until I visited this location, on Saturday evening. Rude and unprofessional place-your-order host at drive-through, dry tasteless soggy chicken, hard biscuit, and warm soda. I had to repeat the order three times, then she goes "wait a minute, let me write this down" and puts me on-hold...the order was for a single 2pc. combo-meal, spicy. Finally, when I approach the takeout window; still no greeting but she glares at me. Speechless. I hand her my card and she slams, the window while talking to others. Only to return some time later holding my bag of food unusually over her head while having additional conversations with her fellow employees. I wait. Finally hands me my meal, glares at me again. Again, no greeting, no acknowledgement. Slams the window shut. The chicken was tasteless and soggy, biscuit dry and hard and Dr. PEPPER was warm. How did they accomplished that?! Beats me. I've never had a bad meal from Popeyes. Threw it in the garbage. I wanted to call the location to make a complaint but I feared that she was probably management. I had a wonderful and tasty experience last week at the Brickyard location in Chicago. 5-Stars to the...
