Don Chicken — Restaurant in Palisades Park

Delish! I am thoroughly impressed. We got Crispy whole Chicken, Ddukbokki, and extra dipping sauce - honey mustard, sweet & spicy (based on our experience 1 tub split between two people is plenty) delivered. When we first opened the box and felt the chicken, it didn't look crispy at all. You don't visibly see these crunchy pieces of batter coating each pieces and when poked seemed so tender. My initial thought was that they probably got soggy during delivery. None of us were expecting this level of crunch when we bit in. Wow, you have the right crunch, skin is so thin you barely notice it's there, meat tender and very flavorful you can eat it without the dipping sauce. Dipping sauces were both yum (don't let sweet and spicy fool you, it's not spicy). ddukbokki had good punch, but not too spicy, rice cake was definitely fresh, not soggy. the fishcake triangles were really thin and delicate. We couldn't stop making comments of amazement as we dug in. The part that impressed us the most - when we were done, there were no piles of huge bones, but a neat stack of bones. you know, those body parts with very little meat attached but looks huge outside. they don't include those. every single pieces had good amount of meat and small bone parts. Absolutely Delicious and disastrous to my planned slim down. We will continue to order from this place for our fried chicken...

Can’t rave enough about this place!

Growing up chicken wings have always been my favorite food with buffalo wings being my go to before I discovered Korean fried chicken.

I’ve tried chicken from all of the local places and Don Chicken is by far the best! If you like heat I highly recommend the spicy soy garlic which is my go to flavor. It is hard to describe how perfectly they fry their wings - they are never soggy or too dry, consistently great every time.

A 10 piece order of wings is more than enough for one person (and I have a big appetite) - they are generous with their servings and the wings are meaty. The owners are super friendly people and create a clean welcoming environment.

Do not hesitate to give this place a try, you will not regret it! My wife loves the fries from here as well and I’ve included a picture of how large the drumsticks are if you prefer drums to wings (she chose the sweet & spicy flavor for her 5 piece order).

I will typically call to place an order for pick up, food is always fresh and ready in 10-15 minutes.

Like other Korean places they give you a disposable glove + radish to keep your hands clean and cut down the heat between bites which is a nice touch.

I called for a delivery. Didn't arrive after an hour so I figured it must be super busy. Ok. I can understand that much. I call an hour and a half later and the person on the phone says it will now be delivered. She was so quick to receive my order and hang up on me rather than get the order from the customer right. I assumed she knew that I Wanted it for delivery since she hung on me so quickly and I am somewhat of a regular here. I guess not. The management of this store is a joke, especially the phone the woman who received my phone call. Very frustrating. Even though I enjoy the chicken here, I may not return as a customer. Now I'm sitting here waiting for my chicken delivery and its been close to over two hours now? Honestly, I do not even want to pay for this chicken as just thinking about this incident makes me...
