Today, I had the chance to unwind at my favorite hangout spot, and as always, it was a remarkably refreshing experience. I want to take a moment to share just how much I appreciated the ambiance, the service, and, of course, our incredible kava specialist, Sarah! From the moment I walked in, the laid-back environment enveloped me like a warm hug. The atmosphere here is always relaxing and inviting, making it the perfect place to decompress after a busy day or just hang out with friends. The decor is cozy yet vibrant, filled with thoughtful touches that make the space feel uniquely welcoming. Itâs one of those places where you can truly feel at home, whether youâre a regular or a first-time visitor. What I appreciate most about this hangout is the community it fosters. Thereâs always a diverse group of great people to meet and chat with, whether theyâre long-time friends or newer faces. The interactions are genuine, and thereâs a wonderful sense of camaraderie among the patrons. We all share a mutual appreciation for good vibes and great company. Today, we spent an hour just laughing, chatting, and soaking up the relaxed atmosphere, all while enjoying some fantastic tunes playing in the background. The selection of music was perfect laid back and chill, setting an ideal backdrop for our gathering. Itâs rare to find a place that truly feels like a home away from home, but this hangout definitely achieves that. I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the time spent there. Whether youâre looking to enjoy a quiet moment to yourself or to bond with friends over shared experiences, this place delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend visiting this hangout if youâre looking for a great environment to unwind, make new friends, and sip on delicious kava. Thanks to Sarah and the rest of the team for continuously providing such an amazing experience canât wait to return for another laid-back evening filled with good vibes and...
Read moreTL;DR: kid-friendly, Third Place, cafe with chill vibes and friendly people.
Long form: This is definitely a Third Place type of place rather than your quick in and out cup of joe. They have two pool tables, a pair of corn hole boards, cozy chairs, and tables for potential board games.
When we first walked in, there were regulars that the bariste knew and was casually chatting with. One customer had her toddler with her as well so this place is kid-friendly.
They mainly serve this root vegetable based drink called Kava, which was new to us. We were mainly looking for caffeine rather than relaxing elixirs so I opted for the iced matcha latte which isnât going to be like the powder variety as it was premixed. I canât speak for the coffee âď¸ but I assume it is good. The main event is Kava.
If youâre looking to chill, relax, calm your mind, and just be then this place is definitely for you. Have some Kava and make new friends.
If youâre wanting to get caffeinated and go, you can get that here but at a slower pace than your typical Dunkinâ or âbucks. If we were locals, I would come back again.
Overall, very friendly people and...
Read moreMy new favorite kava bar in town! The friendliest of staff, as well as the owners Tyler and Kay. Super creative drink selection, where other kava bars should take note. Not the same ol same menu with ancient options. They have "mocktails" which are kratom or kava drinks tasty ingredients! I'd recommend the "Kraken" (Dragonfruit, Strawberry, Kratom)
Have loads of different events weekly, including: Open Mic Night (every other Monday) Pool Tournaments ($$ prizes every Wednesday) Painting Holiday parties Etc
They also have some of the best deals in the county by way of their points system on the Clover app. Some other kava spots you will have to spend $100 before you get a free drink/etc, where as here your first visit just about gets you $5 off, and more and more as you go.
I'd also recommend their loyalty programs. $50 a month for a free drink a day (multiple to choose from) which equals out to less than $2 a day.
Check em out, you...
