I'm pretty sure my appearance is not that of a 9-5 banker, Because I'm not. I'm a construction worker. I build homes for a living. Hence shopping at Harbor Freight. The only thing I hate worse than being profiled when walking through the doors is for that person to follow through with the rudeness and act as though not to be seen and persist to abruptly cross isles to stare in your direction even to look down into my hands and pickers as if I were stuffing them full. I F*ing hate that. I work hard for every penny I make. I earn it. So this prick at Harbor Freight on Malabar would'nt stop. I go to check out and he decides he's not gonna stay at the register as the customer before heads out. He gets a young lady. She checks me out with him standing behind me acting to move things around shelves nervously. I spent $367, paid with my card and was walking out the door and looked to realize I am a member and have them my 20% discount coupon and did not get the discount. So I said something to the clerk that checked me out and here comes Mr t5 ( I'm better than you) as he was telling me the machine gives the discount not the clerk I realized that they didn't give me the price that anything I had said on it at the wall nine out of 10 of my pieces of that I bought who are marked down the on the tickets in front of walls member prices none of them were marked down at the registered member prices. That guy made me cuz I want to leave in the next 20 minutes go back to every one of my products I bought and snap a picture in front of the price tag to come back to him and show him that they were the price I said they were. To me that is unacceptable that is bad management I don't think you should have a job there. And as a customer Harbor Freight customer, I won't frequent that one again. I guarantee you I'll tell everybody I know in this county construction business to stay away from this store on Malabar Road. I'm super pissed off I can't believe this happened the fact that even after I spent almost $400 the still treated me like a...
Read moreOverall, the shopping center is a good one. Parking lot has good navigation, even if it is a bit criss-crossy at times. Stores tend to stick around for a while, which is good. Post office has been there for YEARS, and does a good job of keeping things flowing (for a post office).
Woody's barber shop is the best. I've been going for over 20 years now, and some of the same barbers are there cutting hair. Classic place.
Clientele is standard for the area, residents will feel right at home. Easy access from adjacent apartments, and to/from Texas Roadhouse...
Read moreGoodwill has gotten out of hand!! They took out the fitting booths and removed the power outlets so you can't try before you buy. They ash its tested but with something like a blow dryer, it may turn on but does it get hot or go to high and low. The prices are also crazy. I found dollar tree stuff for higher than buying it new. Clothes are really high as well. Come on! They get court ordered people to work along side of the paid help, and the stuff is donated, and the owner is a multi...
