It’s interesting how many good reviews jeff gets when it comes to making a sale! A great guy until inconvenienced. Please note the potential hassle you will encounter when needing a repair. To jeff, it makes sense to become disrespectful and unprofessional when he’s not the one I need to communicate with- even though I was told they are. If I was able to schedule the appointment AND told I can reschedule with Appliance Direct, then why am I being met with hostility for something I was told BY APPLIANCE DIRECT ?! jeff knows he was wrong. He didn’t acknowledge that the overall issue is, when there is miscommunication, THAT IS NOT grounds for disrespect. I highly suggest taking a customer service course, the grandiose “I AM THE OWNER” attitude will not get you very far jeff. Hopefully this is a learning lesson, you are never too old to learn something new.
I called to schedule a repair and Jay is the nicest and most helpful person you will meet! but WARNING! I would have never bought the appliances if I knew the owner was as RUDE of a person as he is! This is the first time I speak with the owner too, I always speak with Jay. I recently had to follow up on the appointment Jay scheduled for me, when I called in- from the beginning of the conversation jeff (the owner) was EXTREMELY unprofessional, he cut me off, YELLED and spoke to me as if I were a child(not even children deserve to be spoken to how he spoke to me). I asked to speak with Jay and with a condescending tone he said that he is the owner of the business and Jay is his son, he continued with his unprofessionalism, became sarcastic and passive aggressive, he didn't let me speak and disconnected the call on me. Im extremely thankful that Jay works here and really hate the fact that he has to work with a disrespectful, immature man that lacks so much self awareness. If you go here, please be aware that Jeff may be in a bad mood and become an egomaniac and you might get chewed up by him on any day. Who wants to do business with ppl who can disrespect you for absolutely NO REASON?! completely uncalled for and highly disappointed. Read moreWe bought a new whirlpool washer and dryer from Appliance Direct Palm Bay Fl from Pete then when they were delivered you could tell that the washer had been previously used the dispenser was corroded from the laundry detergent and fabric softener. The washer and dryer were supposed to be brand new we did agree if it had any scratches or dents they sold them as brand new when the delivery guy did a test on the washer there was a squealing sound he said it sounded like the bearings were bad so then he called the store Appliance Direct then they scheduled a repair with Brandt’s Appliance Repair we’ve been waiting for 3 weeks and when I called them they said it will hopefully will be there by August 1 st so I called the store and was given a number to call Jeff I was explaining what was going on he kept talking over me and said why did you wait this long to let them know when Pete was notified from day one he said I needed to call whirlpool and I asked him for the phone number he told me to Google it he was unbelievably rude. So I had to call the store and Pete gave me the number. So then I called whirlpool and was on hold for about 40 minutes and they said there was nothing they could do but maybe speed up the part delivery and that it was up to the Appliance Direct to exchange it when Jeff said call Whirlpool. Be aware if you buy anything from Appliance Direct because they will sell you used broken appliances and there’s nothing you can do about it and if you have to talk with Jeff you’ll see exactly what I was telling you. Read moreThis was, hands down, the most wonderful Customer Service experience I have ever had.
It is a rare experience to be so happy about purchasing something like a dryer that you are motivated enough to go on the internet to write a review about the experience. But at Appliance Direct, Jeff Rock made the experience so smooth and enjoyable, to not tell others about it would be a mistake.
Jeff took the time to greet me as soon as he was able to and despite my torn jeans and Spider Man hoodie, treated me like I was the most important person in the world. He went out of his way to help me find the right dryer to fit my needs and perhaps the most important part of the whole experience was also the simplest: He was honest.
Jeff at no point exaggerated, mislead, fluffed, or otherwise tried to bamboozle me. I never felt like I had to haggle nor did I feel like I was being taken advantage of.
Jeff took professionalism to the next level and worked around MY schedule to deliver the dryer HIMSELF to my front door. All the while he was prompt- showing up exactly when he said he would, patient- my house is out of the way and obscured but lugging about a dryer didn't dampen his demeanor or his smile, and pleasant. I cannot overstate this enough- his excellence in customer service is on another level, far above that of his competition.
