I recently had the opportunity to visit the new Starbucks located in the Bayside area of Palm Bay, and my experience couldnāt have been better. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the place. Every corner, from the tables to the service area, was spotless, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a good cup of coffee. One of the things that impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. From the initial greeting to the farewell, the employees were extremely attentive and helpful. What truly made my visit special was their kind gesture of offering me a free coffee as it was my first time at this location. This thoughtful detail not only showcases their commitment to excellent customer service but also creates a genuine connection with visitors. The location of this new Starbucks is another highlight. Itās just a few minutes from my home, making it an ideal spot for my mornings or a break during the day. Knowing that I have such a cozy place nearby, where I can enjoy my favorite drink while reading or working, is truly a great advantage. Without a doubt, this will be a place Iāll visit frequently. Iām really happy to see how the Bayside area in Palm Bay continues to grow with the arrival of high-quality businesses like this Starbucks. The opening of this store not only provides a convenient option for coffee lovers but also contributes to the development of the community by offering jobs and a meeting place for friends and neighbors. They listened to my concerns and assured me that they will address the issues and work with their staff to turn the culture around immediately. I believe they will do the right thing and make this Starbucks inviting to all groups of people going forward. Thank you management for listening and taking action right away. I feel much better knowing that I can visit my local Starbucks and enjoy my experience now. Thank you!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This Starbucks is extremely racist towards African Americans. Iāve visited here several times and each time Iāve noticed the difference in treatment of black customers versus white customers. I walk in and no one says anything to me. I donāt receive a greeting or any type of acknowledgment. A white customer walks in after me and receives a greeting as soon as they come through the door. The workers are racist and itās blatant. Iām writing this review because Iām calling them out! Youāre racist point blank period. Iāve noticed it several times and hopefully management will address this and change the culture of this place completely around or Iām not soliciting this location. Itās so sad that in 2025 there are still businesses that think they can treat customers differently because of their skin color but thanks to Social Media I can alert others and call this place out! Not really a big deal and Ben, who was the cashier, said heād fix it for me. I watched Ben, (who wasnāt wearing a name tag but had a piece of tape with his name written in sharpie instead) pour my grande drink into a large cup and add a more ice. Then he just topped it off with a little more oat milk. He gave it a swirl and tried to serve it to me. š I asked him to remake my whole ice coffee drink again properly, which he did. In essence, I was being given my same small drink in a large cup. Iām sorry but that is totally unacceptable!! I paid over $7 for an iced coffee thatās already more than half a cup of ice and Ben tried to pull a fast one on me. I guess he didnāt realize that I watched the whole thing from the drive thru window and I can tell you, I was infuriated when I left.
