Young’s Buffet-4700 Babcock St NE #27, Palm Bay, FL 32905 3 Stars Young’s is a buffet that is large in both size and scope. In fact, the buffet is the centerpiece, the focus of this plain Chinese kitchen, which also offers some American fare. It is located just inside Palm Bay Center. The Holiday House (DeLand, 1959), Malcom’s Hungry Bear (Orlando, 1977) and even the fictitious Hungry Heifer (from the sitcom Cheers, 1982) with Norm Peterson’s classic line, “I’ll have the feeding frenzy for two” was representative of a space in time and indicative of a special occasion, which presented what was typically deemed the rarest of treats for families of the era. Along with cafeteria style eateries, these long-standing traditional institutions have all but vanished from sight. What has since come to the fore to replace them is a steady deluge of buffets, catering to Chinese food, as well as the blech inducing likes of the Golden Corral. As might be expected, I entered Young’s Buffet with low expectations and still was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly, this is not great food but as I sit here amongst 25 like minded fat people, I find myself quite satisfied. I’m fully satiated and have gotten my fill, equitable to the $16 spent. There is a broad array of both American and Chinese fare and there is also sushi. Now, this is not ever going to be confused with gourmet cuisine, but nonetheless, it’s…fun. Folks are free to indulge in and avail themselves of whatever they choose, without the abiding fear that their collective dalliance with this eclectic mix might give rise to abligurition. Big Boy Says, “If you want to gorge yourself for a reasonable price, Young’s Buffet fits the bill.”

Please DO NOT eat here i went to this buffet for the first time and immediately had a bad experience i sat down to eat my food and bit into my egg role and there was hair mixed into my egg roll that is DISGUSTING i told the manager and she told me she doesn’t know where the hair came from because it’s not out of her kitchen instead of apologizing she was very rude and to think she’s a manager of a restaurant i would think she would have treated her customers better than that smh customer service is trash and the food is disgusting please be aware and check your food this is why people get COVID-19 because restaurants don’t know how to properly cook food following health guidelines and let’s not mention how the MANAGER was supposed to charge my card 5 dollars and change and charged my card 37 dollars and then “refunded” the money why say you are going to only charge my card 5 dollars and change but go and charge it for almost 40 dollars makes no sense if i was able to rate this place -20 stars i would

Food is mediocre. I am a fisherman and grew up on fresh fish, so I was very disappointed. The fish and shellfish is stale and old, to the limit of edibility, the sushi is really low quality in ingredients and execution. Most of the food was cooked hours ahead and was dry and stale. Mussels, clams, salmon were old and horrible, shouldn't be served. I tried almost everything to give an honest and complete review. The only things I liked were eggplants in garlic and Egg Foo Young. Service people were nice. As a buffet, Crystal Buffet is much much better. Picture of the eggplant that I liked.

I would love this place if they would just give you time to eat and experience and wonderful time with your family and or friends but instead they are quick to grab your empty plate like you are feeling very rushed to eat and get out of their restaurant. I mean as soon as they see an empty plate they come grab it and ask my daughter if she was done with her soup bowl as my daughter is taking a sip from her soup so clearly my child was not done eating or drinking her hot soup! Also, privacy on how we leave our tip for the waitress is highly inconsiderate! I have noticed 3 times now I have gone to Young’s Buffet and I have the Asian waitress standing over me and my purse literally over your table waiting for your cash or card to take your bill up to pay for the bill and seeing how much tip they are getting I mean looking over your wallet to see how much tip you will leave for them which I find highly rude and very disrespectful! If I come here again and they do this I will no longer come back to this buffet! Also, their food this last experience water was overly hot to where I would literally burn my fingers to pick up the tongs to be able to grab my food and something things overly dried and burnt on the bottom of the dumplings and the sugar donuts. I understand we pay for the price we eat at but please have some respect for people eating don’t hover over them like you are rushing us to get out let us experience a pleasurable and pleasant atmosphere and smile as to how you greet your costumers and let us enjoy being in your restaurant! Trust me you would get a better tip if you come and check to refill our drinks more often and maybe checking to see empty plates at this time. I actually had to come here 3 times to see the continuous treatment before I left this review. Let’s see if for the 4th time I can have a better experience with this restaurant when I come again! I had stop coming to this young’s buffet for many years and I was wondering why I did?! Maybe this is why. Good food makes bad company when feeling watched and rushed to get out! Remember not everyone is rich 🤑 and bougie and we can only do what we can and we will base our tips on our experiences that is with every restaurant not just young’s buffet you all are not the only one I have experienced this with so just understand I do reviews base on truths and facts of experience of how many times this actually happens not once not twice but this was the third time this happened with your restaurant. 3 different times! Before I decided to finally leave a review for Young’s buffet let’s see if their are others who have experienced what my family experienced or if I am the only one. God bless and I pray Jesus leads your company to do better next time I come in. Thank you...

Love this buffet! Great generals chicken, chicken teriyaki, cheese wontons, etc... My only complaint is the food is not hot. There should b a microwave for the guests. I like hot food. I complained once but no changes. Still like going here. Food is good and the restaurant is nice and comfortable. We have been ordering off the menu and the food is spectacular especially the fried chicken wings. This place has alot of dishes that they do very well. REMEMBER The buffet is not always gonna be in perfect condition and I complained the last time we went. This place has awesome food. The best thing to do is to order off the menu. That's what we've been doing. You may not get as much variety and you might spend a few more bucks but it is well worth it. The last time we 2ere there we had 3 girls taking care of us and the food was spectacular!!!! We had a chefs specialty dish with beef, chicken, veg and a beautiful gravy, a shrimp and green beans, chicken wings, crab rangoon, etc... They have the best chicken wings around for a value price. The food was so fresh it was out of this world. 3 years later and we are still ordering off the menu. We have been ordering about twice a week. This place has awesome food. Great sauces, fresh meat, fresh vegetables and never a bad dish. I wish they had a chef specialty section. Their chefs do an awesome job. The dishes are perfectly executed.!!!!Update!!!! Due to Covid we don't do buffets anymore. We still love the food here but sadly 2 months ago we were asked to not come in and order off the menu anymore. Buffet only. You can order takeout but there's no delivery available :-( I guess they are not set up to wait on tables individually. They still have the best Chinese food...

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. First when my daughter and I arrived the paramedic was taking someone away. That should have been my first sign. So we go inside around 3 pm, the food was so blend and dry and my daughter said "the Sushi was warm." I don't eat seafood but my daughter do so that leaves me with nothing but chicken. They maybe had 4 or 5 old fried chicken wings in the when we made it. They did not bring any more out until close to 4pm. I even asked a couple of workers could they bring out some more, who by the way was so rude and nasty did not bring them until about 30 or 40 minutes later. I was ready to leave this unprofessional place. My daughter paid our bill and I ask was the owner in today. The lady at the front register said "yes, would you like to speak to him and I said "yes." A lady(one of the people I asked about the chicken )came out and I explained to her how bad the service was she proceed to say" the guy doing chicken is new and have been messing up all day and that it takes 15 mins for chicken wings to cook so she usually tell people to call first if they want fried chicken wings ." I said "This is a Buffet why would I call first." I asked her "AND you are The Owner?" She then said "No, I'm the manager the OWNER DO NOT HAVE TIME TO STOP AND TALK TO COSTUMERS!" Then she said "what do you want I can't give you a refund because you already paid. " I told her "I didn't want a refund I just wanted to let the owner know about the bad service and at least get a "Sorry for the inconvenience we will try to do better next time." She then told me "SHE IS NOT SORRY for the service because it was the new guy fought for not knowing what he was doing...
