My first time in Bonefish grill was this afternoon (7/30) around 1pm. I sat at the bar with bartender Brea. She was amazing. I was also approached by a manager that asked how I was doing and told me it was his second day on the job.... he was super friendly and made me feel welcome.... I ordered the ceviche special and they gave me bread to start. Everything was so good that I sent a picture of the menu to my roomie, and said I was going to take him to dinner here the same night with my kids. So tonight we arrived around 8ish. Anthony was our server. We put in our drink orders as well as my daughters food so she wouldn't get restless. The food was amazing, I ordered Lillys chicken and my roomie ordered Mahi and shrimp. When the food came I asked for more water for my son. He must have forgot, so 10min later we flagged him down and he got my son water. I highly recommend the truffle fries which came with this amazing cilantro sauce.... we asked for extra when we ran out, but it never came. When we were finished, I asked for to-go boxes as well as the cilantro sauce cause I really wanted it. He never acknowledged that he forgot the water or the sauce..... but we all have off days. When I got the check, there were two items on there that we didn't order..... It was a Jacob's Creek Moacato and a Sonoma Chardonnay.... neither one of us ordered white wine.... I had a glass of red and we had espresso martinis for dessert (they were yummy!). I told Anthony about the two items on my check, and he says, "you guys didn't order these"? I said, "really, you're our server, you know what we ordered".... I was nice about it because my friend and I have been bartending and been restaurant managers for the last 20+ yrs. He proceeded to say that he can't remember what everyone orders.....mind you, the restaurant was dead.... he had 3 tables and we had only been there for an hour. I said, "oh long day"? Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. He said, " well, I can go ahead and take these off for you".... as if we ordered them and didn't like them or something. If he would have just owned up to it, and apologized or anything I would have left a 50% tip instead of 16%..... just say, "oh my bad", or "my mistake" or "damn, I'm hungover" or "I'm having an off day" SOMETHING! We all make mistakes, but he made us feel like he was doing us a favor, by removing the 2 items that we did not order. Regardless, I will be back, but I'm looking forward to different staff serving us...

Sadly, we didn't finish a single dish because it honestly just wasn't good.
First of all, people need hydration. You need to ensure people have water and not have to request it 3 times.
Our entire table was asking for water with little success the entire meal. I understand that last week some people complained about water on the tables.
Maybe remove some of the decorations in the middle so we have room to eat and drink as a group sharing a table.
The lobster bisque had too much sherry (that wasn't cooked out all the way) and was lacking the Bisque flavor.
The salad was plain and could have used more balsamic.
The pasta dish was lacking flavor on the noodles. Very dry.
Steak and salad both had shaved Brussel sprouts and cream was in 2 dishes.
Steak was inconsistent. Mine was medium well and my wife's was purple and cold in the center.
We left before having the dessert portion. We finished nothing on our plates.
Forced to tip without notification for zero service. The servers were nice, but the entire event was disorganized from a customer perspective.
We were crowded and my wife had to sllide on my chair to get out because the tables were so close together.
Food needs more salt, flavor, and consistency. Service needs to be better organized. Plan a more diverse tasting menu without repeating dishes and ingredients.
We love Bonefish except for this night. It was a disaster of quality.
4/16/24 I'm gonna call this a one-off because I love Bonefish Grill. I ordered delivery through uber eats, but that wasn't the issue.
Unfortunately, the mussels were a little skunky. I've had them many times before, but this batch on Friday April 26, 2024 at 6:35pm shouldn't have been served.
The poke bowl rice was a bit clumpy, unlike when we are there in person.
The chicken marsala was FANTASTIC and this location is typically PERFECT. Just a heads up for management, before I delete this comment and restore my 5...
Read moreIncredibly nice, respectful and genuinely caring staff. This BoneFish Grill at Palm Garden's food is also phenomenal! They do such a nice job. I was in the restaurant business for many years myselfand have an appreciation for detail oriented restaurants. And this restaurant is worth going to!
The servers, the bar staff and especially the manager Lynn were all so nice to me and my one year old. While my husband is stationed outside the country, my son and I eat out a lot for many reasons. Bonefish makes us feel right at home and at a great price too.
Bonefish has so many great things to offer. Their gift card incentive program is also really convenient. I like their kids menu a lot for my little one. The portions are perfect and its all so fresh. The restrooms here at the Palm Gardens location are immaculate and they have very clean koala baby changing tables. There is also a patio area where I have walked my son around on while waiting for our food. Dining out with a hungry and squirmy one year is not easy. So it is important to have an area where we can dismiss ourselves from the table and go outside to a safe walking area. The parking is easy, there seems to always ve parking, valet is offered and the parking spaces are big enough to fit my big truck. The music seems to fit the mood or the time of day of the restaurant. When I went last, they had a really relaxing station on. It was nice after the hectic day I'd had with having taken my son to the doctor etc. Last but not least, the wine list is fantastic. I normally order their house La Terre chardonnay which is reasonably priced and a great pick by their wine purchaser. Hats off to them! Overall, I would recommend this spot to everyone.
Thank you Bonefish Grill for your kindness, your amazing food, very welcoming attitude, and prompt service. See ya...
