A Greek salad I didn't order, no big deal. The double chicken gyro melt that was more like chicken jerky and the cheese was almost crunchy! We've been steady going here for the last 6 months and all was good, until....... I went in today to show them the pictures of the meal that we received on Friday. The girl behind the register told me I did not get it from mr. Gyros. I told her I could not eat a double chicken gyro by hand so I always lay it out on a plate and cut it up then eat it. As you can see in the pictures the cheese is not melted there is dry chicken jerky stuck to the back of the cheese. My wife's lamb gyro was good according to her but mine was disgusting and the young lady behind the register on Monday December 3rd did not want to hear anything about it! So being a Palm Beach Gardens native and businessman I would have somehow accommodated the customer instead of just saying there's nothing I can do for you repetitively! Good way to lose some more customers. I did notice there were no meat on the rotisseries at all, as if they were closing down and were waiting for me to pick up my takeout order. I am a little disappointed because when the food was good it was just that, but the lack of respect was insulting! I tried to show the girl the pictures that I posted and explain without letting other customers hear what we were talking about, she didn't care she just wanted to shut me up and get me out the door! So that will be the last time I spend my money there and hopefully somebody else reads this and doesn't waste their money there either! Good-day I do have to give credit to the polite young lady at the register on Fridays when we used to order. She at least knew my name and didn't treat me like some alien like the girl Monday December 3 did.

I was born in Greece and my father owned Greek Restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale and Boca so I know what Greek food should taste like. I must say the Gyro I had was PHENOMENAL especially with the Greek salad. Feta was on point. It's hard to find a Greek place that serves real feta cheese. Now this review was really towards the Avgolemono (Chicken Lemon Rice Soup). I always told myself my dad makes the best Avgolemono because he's from Ios and has grandma's old recipe and when my dad closed his restaurant down I was sad because I'd never have the same Avgolemono I was used too. The authentic Greek one. Well I was wrong. I took a bite today and was back in heaven. That feeling is undescribable! Hands down BEST GREEK FOOD IN TOWN! Will always be back! Thank you to Mr. Gyros for bringing back my childhood Avgolemono memories. Sas efharisto para poli! Also the Albanese girl up front was so sweet. She asked me at the counter if I was greek because of my tattoo and we just started speaking Greek to each other it was wonderful! 💖🙏

My wife and I had lunch there today. It had been years since I’d been there so we thought we’d try them again today. My wife got the chicken souvlaki with salad, and I had a gyro with salad. Both of our salads were fine, and the dressing was flavorful. But the chicken in my wife’s Souvlaki was inedible. It was so dry, with not much flavor, you just couldn’t even eat it. I didn’t believe her so tried and took a little bite, and she was correct. I wanted to spit it out. There were too many people around to go mention it to them, and my wife isn’t the type that would do so in general. My gyro was ok, but the meat was very salty. It needed all the sauce and other stuff in the Gyro to make it taste less salty. Another issue, the eating area is small, and many people would be waiting for orders and were hovering over us. It was an uncomfortable feeling. Based on this experience, we will be in no hurry to go back. There are better Greek options just down the road with more edible food.

Found this place on one of my business meetings, it was just after 1:30pm and I stopped in. I ordered the Gyro (chicken) and was surprised as I thought it was quite tasty. The young girl behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful as it was my first time there. I grabbed a menu to take home with me thinking I would bring my husband back with me for dinner one evening. Last week we decided to head over there after school function for the kids, it was just a few minutes past 8pm on a Wednesday, when we walked in the serving dishes that held the side dishes had been removed and also the meat on the spites were off. My husband and I were surprised because it said they were open for another 50 minutes or so. We were told that the side dishes were available but they only had rice or salad. We both got rice and ordered what i thought was the chicken Gyros. The order came out quickly and it looked different then the last time i had eaten there. So i questioned the guy behind the counter who took our order and he was quite unhappy that I was asking about the food. We figured we would try it anyways. It was AWFUL.... the chicken was not shaved thin like it should be for a gyro and it was dry and had no seasonings. There was no sauce or flavor to the pita and the rice was hard and dry like it had been sitting out for a while. On another note, while we were there my husband who has been in the restaurant business for many years in Los Angeles noticed that the floors were filthy. There was food squished into the floor and the tiles themselves looked as though they hadn't been mopped in ages. They got their last monies from my family and I will not recommend to my friends that you eat there. We have so many choices in our area that spending money on food where the service, taste and cleanliness is less then par, its just...

I have been eating at this location since its inception and up until this point, I have been nothing but satisfied. I stopped by this Saturday night and expected more of the same, obviously my family and I were severely dissapointed. First of all I was made to feel like I was bothering the cashier as he took my order and I watched as my food was prepared in a careless manner then finally, sitting on the food prep counter for a full four minutes before I walked up and clearly disturbed the cashier from watching television to bag the order so I could leave. All in all about 16 Min. for two Gyros and a kids meal. When we got the food home and opened the boxes... the lettuce was old and the meat was more like little fatty lamb nuggets rather than the traditional long, thin slices as we've grown accustom to enjoying. The kids chicken was dry and flavorless and the rice was far overdone. I had heard others speak of the increasingly low quality product emerging from this location but up until now I have refused to believe it. I believe that the owner has given too much control to his employees and should perform a serious re-examination of the quality control of his product that directly reflects his commitment to his customers. To Mr. John Kaplanidis, I will not return to your restaurant any time soon. There are plenty of other fine Greek establishments in the area for me to waste anymore of my time and money on this one. It is a...
