(This is what I sent to the restaurant from the email asking for ratings and comments on our dining experience, copy/paste❤️) I’ve only been to the TdB in Orlando and either with small or medium sized parties, many many times and I always had a fantastic experience. 7 people in our party tonight total. This was the one and only disappointing time that I’ve ever been to TdB. The only cuts of meat that came around were cheap ones, I had to ask for filet towards the end of us being there and by the time it actually came out, I wasn’t even hungry anymore and everything else I had was cold. The frequency of meat coming by was very subpar, we all would have our green card up, and we wouldn’t see any meat come by for 15 minutes give or take, or we’d see them, and they just wouldn’t come by our table. Most of what they came by with was the same thing, over and over, chicken, pork, flank. Didn’t see duck, beef ribs which no one wanted and sausages until the very end, and there were 7 other meats we never even saw. The mashed potatoes brought to the table were cold, the hot stuff from the salad bar was also cold, with the exception of the lobster bisque. The server we had was nice but we barely saw her after the first 30 minutes, some of us didn’t have water for extended periods. The fact that we paid well over $600 and got subpar food and service, it’s pretty maddening to even think about right now. For that much money we should have had at least almost every cut of meat coming by being offered on a much more consistent basis, not just the chicken, pork and flank and 15 ish minutes apart. We hardly saw the guys with meat! I’ve never had that kind of service at TdB ever!! Compared the the Orlando TdB, your location is seriously lacking. For over $600, the service and food should have been top notch and the food warm when it was supposed to be warm. Thankfully our 19 year old daughter, her brother and their friends had never been to a TdB and didn’t know how awesome it usually is. They enjoyed themselves and loved it. I’m just sad for our daughters birthday dinner not being as awesome as I thought it would be from experience. Extremely disappointed. Also, the acoustics there are beyond horrible, you can’t even hear anyone at your table, we were constantly saying “what?!” and repeating ourselves. It was way too loud to enjoy a family Brazilian style meal, the way it’s supposed to be, and I know how it is supposed to be from...
Read moreMy wife and i have been to TWO Texas De Brazil locations. There is another location south of us in the Sawgrass Mall. That place is an INSTITUTION and a blueprint for customer service, decor and food. This location, in Palm Beach Gardens, is just a shadow of the one in the Sawgrass. The service is usually terrible, and at its best it is "barely acceptable". Let me explain further:
At the Sawgrass location the waitstaff asks your preference for how your meats should be cooked. Then they take your drink order and invite you to the salad bar. Once you finish your salad, the waitstaff IMMEDIATELY asks if you're done then replaces your plate with a clean one, and turns over your round "pass" to green telling the servers to begin the feast. While you're eating the waitstaff will refill your drinks and soon after a manager will come over to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of spectacular.
Not here at the Palm Beach Gardens location. You'll be seated by a hostess and at some point a server will come to your table, ask what you wish to drink, then leave you on your own. You'll hit the salad bar, return to your table (drinks probably haven't arrived yet) then finish your salad. Then you'll sit in bewilderment with dirty salad plates and wonder what happens next. Take a look around - other diners will be in various stages of confusion as some wait for their checks, others wait for their meats to arrive cooked to THEIR liking, some will be coughing for lack of beverage, and others will be sitting with dirty salads plates. This has happened to us the LAST TWO times we came here. I am very observant and watched as both the female manager and male manager did ZERO, the hostesses joked around, and the waitstaff all hung out near the kitchen looking rather bored and forgetting they had a JOB to do. The second to last time my wife and i came here we left ZERO tip and told the female manager how TERRIBLE our server was (we only saw him ONCE). She just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. This last time my father arrived from out of town and we gave it another shot - even my dad said the service was TERRIBLE. This will be our LAST visit. Also interesting to note is that the restaurant was HALF EMPTY on a Friday...
Read moreMy first visit to this location was a good one however the other two were not. The second time I came it seemed like they were were ready to close for the night, although it was only 7pm, because there wasn’t the variety of meats that I experienced on my first visit. I decided to give it another try but I called ahead of time to see what the best time to come in was because I didn’t want to have the same bad experience and the manager “Marcelo” told me that 7 o’clock was actually a good and that if I came in to ask for him and he would make sure my experience was a good one. So I went in that night with a friend and asked for him at the door and the hostess sat us and said she would let him know I was there. Well that didn’t happen so I asked our server and she then returned and said that he went home sick but the other manager was there “Andre” and I said ok. Andre eventually came over and I explained to him what Marcelo and I spoke about he said he made a few excuses stating that he has cut down staff due to the pandemic however the first visit that I had was also during the pandemic and there wasn’t any issue with getting a variety or service and they may have cut down on staff but with that being said they also have cut down on guests so it should balance out?! However I still tried be positive and optimistic but this timewas actually worse than the last. Our server had zero personality and wasn’t at all friendly to say the least when we flipped the card it was over 5 minutes before the person came to the table. I asked for medium steak I got well and my friend asked for his steak well and they said they would be back but never returned with what he asked and that happened a couple of different times. The mashed potatoes were cold. I asked to speak to Andre again to let him know how this experience was and he eventually came over and told me to call corporate and was very unapologetic. Like seriously that’s how you treat people?! I wasn’t making a scene, I didn’t want a free meal I just wanted the service and food to be worth what I was...
