Rampant health code violations over the years (we found out they were shut down a few months ago) including mold and unsanitary food prep…not to mention complete lack of customer service and integrity by the owner; it is shocking to say the least.
This is long overdue, a complete embarrassment for myself and my family, and on the heels of their landlords filing a complaint against them.
The public needs to know who these people are. My family and I have been consistently overly kind patrons for nearly 2 years until recently. My late father worked for the developer Brock for over a decade. We are educated, fine people and are traumatized!! We come from a hospitality and real estate family and this is the most disturbing situation we have ever heard of!
Firstly, their food quality is garbage (look up their MANY health code citations…things happen for a reason so thank goodness we found out and will never return). The staff there is awesome, minus Kelly (she is strangely abrasive to myself and others as I have verified with many). I don’t know if she was having a bad day but she inserted herself in my conversation, verbally assaulted me then followed me into the dining area when I removed myself from her presence, yelled at me again in front of others and was reprimanded. She looks unkempt but moreover she is miserable. So much so she’s been demeaning to my mother!
An ex-employee (H) belches at the bar and a few of us saw her make out with a guy while others were eating. She glares at patrons and makes them uncomfortable. The owner has been made aware.
My family has had it. To add insult to recent injury, we uncovered that the owner Graziella made up a fake story involving the authorities and we caught her in lies as did the police who always seem to be there. What restaurant always has legal issues like this??
The landlords at Brock are aware and complaints have been filed; there are constantly fights with their trashy customers. One involving broken glass and a stabbing. How scary.
I always want to see business owners improve but they seem to be incapable and never take ownership. I feel badly for the lovely young ladies I know who bartend there but we will never associate with this dump again. They can’t even keep their restrooms clean.
The most unprofessional, disgusting and bizarre situation I’ve ever encountered. They are even on the PBG police radar now. How crazy!
All of the other establishments in the plaza are run beautifully and have much more elegant clientele and delicious food. We are pleased to give them our...
Read moreWe reserved the private room for my mother’s 80th birthday that is described on the private event brochure as an “elegant private room overlooking Grande’s wine room, accommodates 20-24 guest.” This is in fact a storage room for many flat screen TVs covered in bird poop that were randomly covered with table cloths. The placement of the TVs made it hard to get around the room, were unsightly, and I even stubbed my toe on one trying to get around. There were other random items that we had to request to be removed and for the air to be turned on since it was very hot. We decorated and made the best of it since my mom had guests coming. We had 20 guests total (including 3 smaller children) and could barely fit at the unevenly matched tables. The table should have had the promised bread and the bruschetta upon arrival of the guests. However we waited for 30-45 minutes before even bread was served. Once guests arrived we waited a long time for drinks. The bread was delivered to one side of the table and there were guests that didn’t get a piece on the other side including my mother. I had to request more several times as well as for the appetizers that was only enough for half the guests. It took forever and was embarrassing- 1 and a half hours for the salads and almost 2 hours for entrees. Drinks were ordered and never arrived. When I expressed my frustration with the state of the space, the event planner as well as the presumable manager said he had been telling the owner that the state of the room was unacceptable for quite some time. They basically said they couldn’t do anything about it. No body helped our poor waitress who seemed to be overwhelmed and unprepared to accommodate a party of 20. The hallway to the bathroom was covered in boxes and was not accessible to anyone with a walker, wheelchair, or needing space to turn the tight corner. The storage in the hallway was excessive. The restrooms themselves had no toilet...
Read moreThis place really deserves to be recognized. It is the most beautiful Italian restaurant in palm beach gardens. We had our rehearsal dinner there on Friday and it was amazing!! The prices were great and the owner was extremely accommodating. They didn't nickel and dime me for anything unlike all the other restaurants that quoted me. We chose the menu selection #2 for $24.95 per person and we couldn't believe how much food they gave us. The dinner buffet was set up really elegantly for us and all the tables were covered in complimentary red roses, candles and roses pedals. My fiancé and me were thrown back on how much they really went out of their way for us and how everything was priced so great. We had 80 guests and our party was supposed to be outside but then we called the restaurant and asked them if we can have it in the main dining room and they gave us the whole dining room at no charge! They do not have a room charge or overtime fee! All the other places we looked at were charging us $200.00 for an extra hour and room fees! Im so glad we chose this restaurant for our rehearsal dinner because service was great. Mark the captain was extremely accommodating and the staff really made it wonderful. The ambiance is beautiful and the food was delicious. The morning after our wedding we invited our guests to the brunch buffet and we were totally impressed on how many choices were on the buffet. The chocolate chip pancakes and cinnamon donuts were awesome. It is the best breakfast buffet in Palm Beach Gardens. We highly recommend Grande's for rehearsal dinners and private parties. Well deserved to be successful. The family that run this restaurant really does a great job. Thank you for making our day...
