I’m from Philly, where we pretty much brought Italian Ice up to an art form. Jeremiah’s is not your average water ice. They are very inventive and nail a lot of flavors you wouldn’t believe possible. My faves are black cherry and lemon in the classic vein, but they have a mint chocolate chip that is off the hook and brownie batter that really tastes like brownie batter. How they pull this off is beyond me but it’s worth the trip. They have custard in chocolate or vanilla, but I wouldn’t give their custard a 10. It’s not as creamy as I expected it to be. Read moreThis was our first trip to Jeremiah’s and the ice cream sundaes were as fun and tasty as we expected.
However, the service and ambience in this particular store left a lot to be desired. Despite arriving almost an hour before closing, the two girls working did their best to make us feel uncomfortable by sweeping up, packing away chairs, bringing in all the outside equipment etc despite us trying to sit and enjoy our ice cream.
They also tried to ignore us when we stood at the counter waiting to order....

Also, both times the customer service was lacking - very unfriendly (no greeting and acted as if customers were a bother) and unprofessional (argued with each other) staff.
