Lil Sal's Pizza Express — Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens

If I could give 0 stars I would‼️ This has got to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL pizza inspired restaurant EVER. I ordered lunch from my job on February 9, 2022, and for (1) my food never came, (2) when I contacted them they said it was on its way, (3) OVER 3 hours later still no food. I contacted them again and said it’s okay, I just want a refund for my $30.80! Then they tell me that the manager isn’t in yet, and they’ll give her my information. Two weeks go by and still no refund. I call again and speak to Franco who give me a million apologies and promises to give me a refund and a call within 5 business days.. No refund. On February 23rd I go to the restaurant and I ask for my refund.. I told the guy I spoke to someone named Frank.. he says “my name is Franco, I remember speaking to someone, but it was a woman”… I look at him puzzled and replied “I am a woman, do I look like a man with a braids, and long lashes? Or was I so professional that you didn’t expect me to be black??” The audacity. Then he says he’s going to text the general manager about my refund, she texts back and ask if I would take store credit.. JOKE. I reply “I came here for my refund, not store credit”.. she then tells him that when she gets home she will start the refund “process” and it’ll take up to another 5 days because they don’t do cash refunds… Well it’s March 4th, almost a month later and I still haven’t received a refund. I called to order pizza and chicken for delivery. The man who answered told me that it would take an hour and 10 minutes. He was very rude but I completed my order. The time frame was too long to wait as the people I was with were leaving, so I called to cancel my order 5 minutes later. They would not pick up my phone (I called 5 times), until we called from another number. He told me they had caller ID so I know he intentionally did not pick up my call. He fought with us about canceling our order 5 minutes after we ordered it. Claimed it was done and on the way, however, 5 minutes before was telling me it would take an hour and 10 minutes. With his attitude and rudeness, I did not want to leave the order and continued to ask to cancel my order. He hung up on me, we called back again from a different number and he continued to fight with me on canceling my order. This was on 9/21 at about 7:30 pm at the Sal's Express on Donald Ross Rd in Jupiter, FL. I would not suggest ordering from them. If a customer wants to cancel their order (5 minutes later), they have the right to cancel and get their money back. He has not returned my money and now I have to call my bank and go through that. Very rude!...

Went in here to get some lunch, quite late in the day around 4 pm, really more like linner. They had a special on a sign out in front of the restaurant offering half a sandwich and soup for 7.99. I got the meatball parmesan and the pasta fagioli. When my order was ready they also gave me a slice of cheese pizza which apparently was part of the special. The meal was enough for two people. The meatballs were really good (and whole meatballs, instead of the half pieces some places give you) though the marinara sauce on the sandwich was a little too sweet to my liking, it was still very tasty and the soup was awesome. The service was very fast and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return to sample some of the other great offerings including Artisan pizza.
