I just got out of the one in North Palm beach with a baseball team. Food as all ways was good. The server was horrible. The appetizers showed at the same time as the food so no one touched them, since now they had the meal. The waiter try scamming us. Normally in establishments like this, they use the players # to identify each separate family to review the bill. The waiter said he can't do it that it was easier go by table and identify each kid to that table, and split the bill, which is not easier. Instead it is a way to add food that was not ordered to the bill because the two or three families who review can only attest to there own family meals. Sure enough all three bills after review had items that were not ordered. On top of that my son ordered a plain burger, and it came back loaded with pickles and the bun full of pickle juice. When he asked to have it fixed the waiter said it would take 15 to 20 minutes to make a new one, trying to convince him not to. My son said yes it would be fine. So he took the burger, and came back with it in less than 2 minutes new cheese on it. And unfortunately only removes the pickles from the bun side and missed the ones stuck to the burger and did not even replace the pickle juiced bun. I guess he think there customers are dumb. We all know the right thing would have to been to re-fire the burger to warm it up and replace the bun and look at it to confirm there is nothing on it, and not give some b.s. story that it would take 20 min. So know the kitchen failed the server, unless he decided to take it upon himself.. Basically the server was extremely arrogant and tried actually did pull a fast one a took are money by putting extra items on it. Two of the tables said it wasn't worth it to contest it, because they needed to get the kids to bed. So we agreed to not go back for our weekly after the game dinners and continue going to Duffys were they know how to handle term dinners....
Read moreI will tell you my experience and you can form your own opinion. I will begin by saying that our server Antwan was attentive. He gave space to allow for us to eat and converse and wasn’t constantly at our table, but was around enough to refresh drinks or attend to our needs as desired. The baseball cap pulled down over eyebrows and assortment of gold chains I originally thought he was back of house staff. Antwan asking if I want “another hit” referring to my drink caught me off guard but was able to work with it.
As for the “cooks”… we heard the table next to us complaining about almost all of their dishes, so we were skeptic and even contemplated choosing another restaurant, but we have had other success at Millers in different cities (Lakeland, Orlando etc). Our mozzarella sticks were cold to the point that the cheese wasn’t even “stringy” and our marinara sauce was so watery it wouldn’t hold to the mozzarella stick. My better half ordered a cheesesteak with just onions. Came out with mushrooms and peppers included in the onions. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, not seeing a bacon cheeseburger on menu I presumed it was the “Cue bacon cheeseburger” so I was surprised when it came without onion straws and bbq sauce. Furthermore, I ordered medium, it came out so rare I thought it was going to moo at me. Luckily I don’t mind rare meat and I don’t send food back as I could only imagine what would have taken place if sending meals back at this establishment. The Manager (I presume), a husky fellow with beard, brought out my spouses cheesesteak when it was properly cooked, he offered us a free dessert, but my spouse and I agreed we didn’t want to risk being let down by another disaster of food item. Bad experience #1 Me and my family decided to eat in Miller’s ale house at the palm beach gardens location as we have many times before we opted for a table to skip the wait of a booth little did we know we would be waiting over 40 minuets to even place a drink order. The waitress claimed it was due to a large party and she didn’t have the chance to serve us yet but in reality she walked past us multiple times to help other guests. After the large party cleared out around 15 more minutes had passed before we even got our drinks after our drink order we waited another 15 minutes to get them and place our food order a male manager came and apologized and said he would keep checking up on us never seen him again didn’t even get his name. No attempts were made for a better guest experience and if you’re wondering we asked for assistance multiple times before the waitress finally came.
Bad experience #2 this time we decided to place a online order to pick up when we got home we discovered that the steak and boom boom shrimp meal was missing the boom boom shrimp all four of our orders were cold medium requested steaks were well done. We called the store and a rude girl answered saying the only thing she could do for us was make us drive 20 minuets back to get the shrimp. No refund offered No manager was informed and when we said we would drive back even though they offer a delivery service she hung up mid conversation very snobby and rude customer service my advice eat at the Jupiter location save your self...
