I recently spent the most incredible weekend at Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort and Spa, and I truly cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived on Sunday and into our stay through Monday, everything was exceptional.

Check-in was smooth and welcoming, followed by a full tour of the property, which is absolutely stunning and would make a perfect wedding venue. We had full access to the pool and the ocean, and the gourmet brunch was out of this world. Every bite was perfection.

What really stood out was the attentive staff, who went above and beyond… Constantly refilling my drink and making sure my four-year-old son felt comfortable and included. It’s a beautiful, family-friendly place that’s just as relaxing for parents as it is fun for kids.

We chose a non-balcony room for safety with our little one over looking the ocean. Still enjoyed the same luxury and style. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we loved having a drink bar and mini bar right in the room, along with beautiful, fresh coffee each morning. The air conditioning was fabulous, the room was spotlessly clean, and fresh towels seemed to be endless, such a nice touch.

Other perks? Valet parking made everything effortless, and the location is ideal, just a quick left turn to Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth, one of our favorite spots.

We especially enjoyed the hot tub at night, soaking under the stars after a full day of fun and relaxation. The pool is absolutely perfect for kids as well, which was so nice.

I’m not one to write reviews, but it my experience was so upsetting I had to share. If you are looking for somewhere with great service and excellent food for brunch, do not come here. First of all, we made an 11AM reservation about 2 weeks in advance. We did not get seated until 11:45 and we got seated at a table that did not fit all of us. In addition to this, the service was atrocious.

It took forever to get just our drinks let alone the food. We ordered all you can drink mimosas and Bellinis and only were served 2 rounds. Our waiter, Ernest, was less than attentive and we actually had the waiter at the table next to us check in and be more accommodating than our actual waiter. The Bellinis were less than satisfactory and one of ours came with only juice and no champagne. If that wasn’t enough, our waiter did not ask how one of us wanted the burger cooked. When the burgers did come, the had no lettuce and tomato. Also, for $18 the one slice of avocado toast was supper disappointing.

To top it all off, we had to get up and go to the hosts stand after getting our check because it was taking so long for our server to come check in the table. The manager, Terry, was less than helpful in the situation and couldn’t even help accommodate our meals or drinks after being here for over 3 hours. The view was amazing but the server disappeared on me at lunch on a Friday and the breakfast on Saturday took 30 minutes to arrive and was way over cooked. I had a cheese burger for lunch on Friday at 3:30. I was the only one in the bar area. My server disappeared for about 30 minutes. I had to ask the hostess to send the check. He then reappeared. At breakfast the next day, 3 of us ordered bacon and eggs and pancakes at 10:18am. At 10:50am we were complaining to the hostess that it STILL hadn't come. It then arrived, but my poached eggs were hard boiled and the bacon burned. I couldn't send them back because I had a spa treatment at 11. Instead of adding pancakes to my friend's breakfasts, the server brought them each a complete second breakfast (3 people, 5 breakfasts). We didn't have time to finish the meal and it became a $90 meal. We complained to the restaurant manager, who did nothing. We complained to the general manager and got $40 off. They then charged me twice--once upon check out on my room charge and then later to my credit card. Never ever ever going here again. It was disorganized, unbelievably slow, and hella overpriced for everything. Oh yeah--no parking here or nearby. You HAVE to pay $30 to valet. Idiots. Worst hotel...
