If you’re anywhere near Palm Beach, let me scream about a little hidden gem called Drift—because this place deserves a standing ovation!
First of all: the coconut iced latte. Oh. My. Goodness. It is absolutely divine. Not that cloying, syrup-drenched mess you get at most coffee chains. Nope—this one is silky, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with just the right kiss of sweetness. It’s the kind of drink that makes you question every other latte you’ve ever ordered in your life. Honestly? It’s borderline life-changing.
Second: let’s talk about the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. I’m telling you, it’s otherworldly. Crispy edges, gooey center, with that little sprinkle of sea salt that just smacks your taste buds into pure bliss. It gives me CR Chicks nostalgia, but leveled up—smaller, yes, but packing more punch with that salty-sweet magic. I nearly shed a tear.
Bottom line: Drift isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s a moment. It’s the type of place that makes you want to drag your friends, your family, your dog—anyone who will listen—just so you don’t feel crazy for obsessing over a latte and a cookie. If you’re not there yet, what are you even doing...

Service hasn’t helped either: more than once I was told my order would be brought outside, only to be forgotten and later find it sitting in the to-go area. Multiple orders have also come out missing ingredients — on one occasion, my friend’s bacon, egg, and cheese with cream cheese arrived without the bacon altogether.
I’m voicing these concerns only in the hope they improve, because they really are a great addition to the island — especially with their carefully curated snack and...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews, but Drift is way too good for me to not! I’m not a coffee drinker, but their Drift Latte is delicious enough to make me rethink that!
The place is small, bright and very pretty, super palm beach-y. The staff is WONDERFUL! So polite and happy to be there, everyone is very welcoming.
I’ve had the drift latte, the lavender matcha, and the chicken Caesar wrap. I wasn’t expecting much from the wrap, just a typical chicken Caesar. I don’t know what they put in it but it was easily the best chicken Caesar wrap I have ever had in my life.
Thank you to everyone at Drift for turning me back into a coffee...
