Looked forward to visiting Le Bar, yesterday may not have been the best day for a visit. Chose a high top for 4 about 4:30. Service was slow to non-existent. When the happy hour menu was presented I asked for a glass of Chote du Rhone. A few minutes later the server returned and asked “what wine did you select?” I was surprised the wine was served in a rudimentary short and small wine glass. I took a sip and wine dripped from the base of the glass onto the table no attention was paid when the glass was poured. I had to ask for a napkin since none was placed under the glass when served. A friend joined me; it took some time for a server to recognize someone else joined the table. We asked for a menu, which was presented, 15 minutes went by prior to being able to place an order. Our server had gone on an errand across the street. I flagged down another server to ask if we could place an order. When our order walked past our table, I said I believe that is ours, presented by a third server; I get when the food is up whoever is free serves it. At a high-end wine bar and restaurant, I was surprised the food was almost about to be “auctioned off” I’m sure the use of table numbers is implemented for food orders, I would think the servers would be familiar with those numbers, being able to deliver the correct food to the correct table and not wander the tables. In between the order being placed and served one would think the server would bring silver ware and plates to the table. Didn’t happen, I had to ask for both. We each ordered a second glass of wine. Our bill was presented, we included a 20% + tip. The manager completed the transaction. As we were finishing our wine and still talking the manager came to our table and said “ I HAVE A RESERVATION WAITING FOR THIS TABLE” period….nothing else, as much as to say , you paid your bill, leave, I need this table. A manager who would like to see repeat business MAY have presented that information differently, “so glad you are enjoying yourselves, I usually would not ask, except we have a private party in side and I do have a party waiting for an outside table, thank you for understanding.” I guess fine dining is not part of this manager’s background, All in all, the food was great but the service, the wine glass size and the managers attitude really turned me off to returning. While business is great now, season ends, there are some days in summer when Palm Beach is pretty quiet, the locals are the ones who will help Le Bar stay...
Read moreLe Bar in Palm Beach has quickly become one of my absolute favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, Nicola makes you feel right at home—he’s truly a master of hospitality and knows exactly how to create the perfect atmosphere. Chef Matteo is simply on another level—the quality of the food is superlative.
If you’re looking for authentic, top-notch Italian cuisine, this is the place to be. I stopped by on a Thursday just for a quick drink and ended up staying thanks to an incredible DJ set and delicious complimentary food! The Pinsa (Roman-style pizza) was out of this world, and the truffle fries were unforgettable. Their Spritz is a must-try—perfectly balanced and refreshing.
And if you’re really lucky, you might get to try something truly special: the “Pizellata al Tartufo” (I hope I spelled that right!)—a unique and exclusive recipe from Chef Matteo that’s absolutely unforgettable.
Le Bar nails it with great vibes, amazing service, and unbeatable Italian flavors. Can’t...
Read moreFantastic bar! I went by myself and sat at the bar, wonderful service by the manager and staff. The bartenders were open and bubbly especially since I was alone, they made me feel very welcome. I order the tuna tartar which came out quickly. It was absolutely divine, I will be ordering it again! It also came with some crostinis which paired well. They have many handcrafted cocktails to choose from. The bartenders are very helpful if you are unsure of what you will like. The invisible margarita was especially good! They made my drink right away! They also had live music playing and complimentary valet parking available. Overall the atmosphere was upscale but welcoming. I would definitely bring my friends or colleagues here or come for a big dinner as they have plenty of tables as well. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant/bar if you are in the...
