If you’re craving authentic Chicago-style Italian beef, Frankie’s Chicago Beef is the place to go! Located in the heart of European Village, this spot stands out as one of the few in the area serving up true Chicago flavors—and probably the best you’ll find around.

We ordered the Italian Beef Combo and the Chili Cheese Dog Combo, and both were fantastic. The Italian beef was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the chili cheese dog had just the right amount of heat and richness. The shoestring fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, making for an excellent side.

The atmosphere is another plus. European Village has a lively energy, often featuring live music in the center, which adds to the dining experience. On top of that, the service was excellent—the staff was friendly, and the owner even came by to check on us, which made our visit feel even more welcoming.
