OK so years ago when my kids were growing up we would go up to Flagler Beach to Mannys and enjoy a super large pizza that they cut into a ton of slices also they made an awesome breakfast..then they left and it later became ocean side cafe..anyway a few years ago mannys popped up in bunnell on rt 1 I think it’s some southern restaurant now that may be closed as well don’t quote me on it anyway we tried mannys there once and it was terrible I mean really terrible like frozen pizza would’ve been an improvement shortly after they close down no surprise.. OK flash forward to 20 minutes ago today ordered pizza from Mannys in palm coast And I apologize if none of these establishments are related I just assume they are but this last one was worse than ever literally six of us in my house and we all said the same thing that it was terrible! Think bar pie which I actually enjoy especially if you’re from New Jersey area think star Tavern.. well maybe I shouldn’t say that because this is completely opposite of that….worst pie I’ve had in a long time, we ordered three and all three were terrible hands-down oh and by the way thanks for the bottle of six months expired Diet Coke Today is September 23 and the date on the bottle is April 26 of this year 2021 …I asked my wife to call and at least take that off the bill but she was already disgusted by the whole experience and said forget it what does it matter I agree I don’t know how to hell you get these good reviews on here you must be writing them yourself or low standards some people think frozen is good! Sorry this pizza...
Read moreWell, i went to Manny’s today with my adult son due to recommendations of Facebook friends. We didn’t order pizza. We ordered dinners instead for dine in. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and my son ordered chicken Parmesan. The servings were very skimpy. There was only a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top of both dinners. I even said something to the owner who served our meals. He offered to put my dinner back in the oven with more mozzarella. i took him up on that offer. Even then, it came back out with only a drop more. Not like most other pizzerias like Mezzaluna or Joe’s NY. I was only given ONE slice of eggplant. Granted, it was the center cut but still, only one slice? The plate also only had a few strains of spaghetti on both meals. The dinners came with salad which was a bowl shredded iceberg lettuce. That’s odd since that cut of lettuce is used for subs not salads. The garlic knots were good. My son hated the sauce on his dinner. I thought it was good but spicy. I paid $20.50 for my one slice of eggplant dinner and $18.50 for my son’s 2 small piece of chicken parm dinner. He said the chicken was tender, though. I feel badly for the owner knowing he needs to cut corners to make rent but there wasn’t enough food on the plate to warrant those high prices. For that reason, i just can’t recommend...
Read moreOn First Blush i was worried when Walking in and No one was under 80 years old in the dining areas(18.30). Ordered a simple pepperoni Pizza and cheese bread. The food resembles Cafeteria food, very Bland and impropely cooked. The cheese bread was $7 and was about six Inches. The Pizza, wasnt fully cooked, the cheese was unmelted and the pepperoni was only warm rather than crispy. Additionally the toppings were under the cheese. Ive never understand how some places Put the TOPPINGS under the cheese, they are Not toppings at that Point and will Not Cook properly. Because the pepperoni was only warm, they were soft and slimy rather than crispy, which also trapped the fat under the cheese. Ended Up Putting Pizza in the oven when i got Home, But even then the flavour was very Bland(Frozen Pizzas have more going For them). Had two slices and im tossing the Rest. Thought i would try this place as my favourite Pizza place is closed in tuesdays. Never again. I will Not make this mistake again. Not to mention i Had the privilege of paying over $30...
