McDonald's — Restaurant in Palm Coast

What ever happened to the customer is alway's right? I am 34 years old and grew up in the hospitality business. I remember trips to McDonalds as a family and hanging out in the play area for hours. We would ride the FREE miniature merry go round with Grimous and Hamburglar again and again. But the best part of it all... the toy in the happy meal. I would collect all of them. Still have some to this day. Whether it was hot wheels, Ty beanie babies, or marvel superheroes. Fast forward to today. McDonalds has partnered with Marvel for the new avengers movie coming out this Friday. Saw the commercial and my 11 year old daughter and I said " we are going to get us some happy meals." My wife daughter and I go in and place our order. 2 Big Macs, 3 chicken sandwiches, and 2 happy meals with the toy. The boy at the counter was very helpful and excited as well about the new avengers toys and told us all the characters we could get. We picked our two and the manager was not having it. She yelled at the boy saying that they only have one toy and that's it. We were not allowed to pick. $22 dollars later and waiting for a substantial amount of time, way longer then one should wait with an empty restaurant, we got 2 of the same toys. I asked her to switch the one out and with an extremely rude attitude she then yelled at the now new girl helping us. What has the world become when the associates are acting better then the management team. The days of hospitality are gone. The days of collecting McDonalds toys are out the window, and the days of manners, common courtesy and the customer is always right are non existant. Way to ruin a generation of family traditions with miserable management. Shout out to the young kids who still had smiles on there faces even though they have to work with a miserable witch. I have to say I have been really disappointed with McDonald's over the last few years. To the point where we hardly ever go anymore. From terrible customer service to food not being made correctly to the dirtiness of the stores and bathrooms. But enough of that I just want to give a shout out to this McDonald's that when I walked in it was very clean and the cashier who waited on us he was very very friendly we've went up probably 5 or 6 times and eating things with ordering more stuff we sat inside and really enjoyed it. Our food was perfect and he didn't give an ounce of an attitude that we asked for a side of pickles or came up and ordered another Burger cuz the first one was so good. So yeah if I lived here I would dine at this McDonald's without a doubt. And because I am traveling there were no Outlets so that was a little disappointment because I couldn't charge my phone, but one of the girls came to the counter and offered to take my phone and charge it for me so that I could use my GPS and that was cool. So for that I'm also grateful. So yeah shout out to the McDonald's workers for all their hard work friendliness and cleanliness at the Flagler Beach McDonald's on East Highway...

I had went through the drive thru with one of my friends which we both ordered through the mobile app I get to the window and it didn’t show a code for me but I told her what I had got and she just kept telling me she couldn’t find the order. We get to the first window she gives my friend her receipt then proceeds to tell me she can’t find my order and tells us that we have to go inside. We go inside and tell a lady what was going on and she gets the manager well the manager was as rude as ever. I show her my receipt and told her it was taken out of my bank account. She then proceeded to tell me I have to read her my receipt in a very rude tone and said she can’t find it to give it a few minutes. I wait a few minutes which we had already been waiting 25 min at this point. They finally sat my order on the counter after 35 minutes but I still had no drink and my food was completely cold. I asked another employee for my drink and she just got rude handed me a cup then ignored my friend and gave her a dirty look when she was asking for honey mustard.
