I called the Palm Desert location to see if they had gluten free wraps for my daughter. The woman said they did. We ordered ahead and when we arrived, the woman grabbed the wrap out of the grab and go, which had me questioning whether they were gluten free. I asked again and said that my daughter had an allergy and she promised me that they wrap was gluten free, and seemed annoyed at this point. We went outside to eat and my daughter voiced concern that it didn't taste gluten free. I called the La Quinta location and asked them and they said the wraps were NOT gluten free. I went in and told the woman what they said and she was arguing with me that they were, so I asked her to call La Quinta and talk with them. She found out they were not and relayed the information to me, very matter of fact. I was shocked and told her that this was a huge mistake. She barely responded. I continued by telling her how dangerous this was and that she needed to be more knowledgable about the products and she kept pushing against everything I was saying, that she thought the wraps were made out of tomatoes. After a while I started getting frustrated with the fact that she didn't realize the seriousness of the situation and didn't seem to care at all. I finally said My daughter could have a "bleep" reaction any second and you haven't even apologized! She responded with "you cussed so I'm not apologizing", which was ridiculous since she hadn't apologized up to this point or even offered to refund my money. After ordering a beet juice and my husband ordered a smoothie. My juice came and we stood waiting over 15 minutes for my husband's smoothie when he ordered way before me. Again, after waiting an awfully long time. my husband finally asked about his smoothie this girl tells him it's on the counter. One of the employees left in out on the counter and never even called his name out to let him know it was even there. The customer service is a complete joke!
As for the juice and smoothie, they were nothing to brag about and it's a shame because you have a bunch of useless very young girls that don't take pride in their jobs so of course theres no love and attention put in making the smoothies or juice and the taste tells it all. My husband's smoothie was so thick and did not nearly taste like what he ordered. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that when I asked the employee if they she added any type of protein powder in my husband's smoothie because he's allergic to soy. She also responded NO very sarcastically. Which did it for both of us. We walked out telling each other we will never be coming back to this place.

Read moreI have been to all Fresh locations in the desert. Very nice staff, great acai bowls, and wait was not too long. I didn’t know the Monterey and Country Club had moved locations to El Paseo. So, it was about 10 minutes to closing. I placed an online order and raced over making it with 2 minutes to spare. Door was locked so I knocked and called multiple times. Someone was inside but wouldn’t answer. I wanted to tell the employee if they were all cleaned up for the day just to refund me and I’ll come back the next day. Instead she left me outside wondering if I was going to get my order. Finally, after standing in the hot sun, she opened the door and said I’ll bring the order out when it’s done and as I begin to respond she shuts the door and locks it. I understand the frustration of last minute orders but I ordered and arrived within their business hours.
