Happy Hour Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm, Sundays 4pm-6pm
Come early, as close as you can to 4pm to ensure a spot at the bar. You won't want to miss out on their incredible cocktails and quality food items all at $9. No typo there, nine dollars. Heads up, it's a steakhouse so dress to impress.
On to the food and drinks:
FOOD
*Spicy Shrimp ($9): Beautifully large shrimp that is slightly fried and served in a dreamy, creamy sauce with a slight hint of spice. This incredible shrimp is accompanied with a delightful cucumber salad that is not just for decoration, but delivers a mouthwatering experience. The salad alone would make an incredible dish. My next visit, I'm doubling my order of shrimp...that good! I'm a huge fan of Flemings very similar appetizer and am having a terrible time deciding which restaurant did better. I appreciate both renditions as they are different takes on the same dish with the talent of each chef providing their own personality into the dish.
*Seared Ahi Tuna ($9): The description alone makes me crave this dish again. This exceptional dish is served with a tasty mixture of ginger, mustard, and hints of beer. The tuna was beautifully seared and so fresh. It's light and I wouldn't hesitate to order on my next venture here.
*Steak Sandwich w/Fries ($9): If you have any doubts on what happy hour items to order, choose this one! Thick cuts of perfectly seasoned and prepared tenderloin is served with a scrumptious in-house béarnaise sauce all on top of a freshly baked roll. The tenderloin melts in your mouth and you'll be in pure bliss for the five seconds it takes you to inhale this sandwich. Take your time with their tasty fries and scoop up the rest of the béarnaise sauce from the sandwich as your dip. You may want to order two if you plan on sharing, this tasty sandwich may cause havoc in a relationship. You won't want to share!
For my sweet toothed happy goers...this dessert is a MUST!
*White Chocolate Bread Pudding ($10): If there's any desert with chocolate anywhere in the description, it's a guarantee I will order that. This classic dessert allows you to choose your spirited crème Anglaise sauce: Orange Cognac, nutty Frangelico®, raspberry Chambord® or coffee Tia Maria®. Per our server's recommendations, we chose the raspberry Chambord®. The pudding was moist throughout, warm, fluffy, and let's just say Gordon Ramsey would be proud. The chocolate was subtle and the crème a lovely touch to the dessert. It's a rather large dessert and a perfect size for sharing to make up for not sharing the steak sandwich earlier with your loved one.
COCKTAILS
Cocktails for $9 during Happy Hour: CLASSIC COSMO POMEGRANATE MARTINI RUTH'S MANHATTAN GIN BASIL SMASH SELECT WINE & BEER
*Lemondrop ($12.50): Smirnoff Vodka, freshly squeezed lemon juice, simply syrup, and sugar rim. This is my newest obsession! I love this drink as it is a classic and can be sweetened to your liking or more on the tart side. If you're feeling adventurous, kindly request some blueberries or strawberries to be muddled for a berry twist.
*Ruth's G&T ($14): This signature drink is a good old fashioned classic of Gin & Tonic. Here they like to be adventurous and add their very own tonic syrup to dazzle away their clientele. It goes without saying, if you're not into gin and tonic...choose from their many other cocktail options.
*Coors Light ($5.50)
I absolutely admire steakhouses such as these. They truly take the time and pride to create handcrafted cocktails with only the best ingredients. Their premium alcohols and fresh garnishes all provide an exceptional drinking experience. All of the bartenders were highly attentive and knowledgeable in their craft.
Pricing is undeniably phenomenal here! This happy hour experience is officially on my top five. Quality food and cocktails all for $9...whoever was the brains behind this operation, has my heart and blessing.

Read moreI was very excited to take my wife to Ruth Chris. We don’t have one where we live and it is one of her parents favorites. It was her first time and we had saved to come. we have never had such bad service in our lives. I have been to many nice restaurants and other Ruth Chris locations and the experience was so bad I don’t know if I’ll be returning the the chain. We felt like we were not taken seriously because we are younger newlyweds. We hardly saw our waiter. He addended to the tables around us much better in general making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We still had high hopes for the food but my wife’s lobster came out overdone and was super dry. Steak is my favorite food and I am not usually very picky when it comes to it but it was one of the worst steaks I have eaten. Especially for $70. The first millimeter of the steak was seared but the rest of the steak was completely raw. I don’t think the plate even came out at 500 degrees because I couldn’t even try to cook to make it a nice medium rare. I hoped that the waiter would stop by to i could ask and see if they could cook it more but he didn’t pass by once while we were eating. I let my meal sit hoping he would pass by so I could get it at least heated up but after about 25 min a bus boy came in and took it away. After our plates were cleared we sat around for about 15 more minutes waiting to hear from our waiter. I finally decided to go to the front and ask for our check myself. It took probably another ten minutes for our waiter to show up with the bill. I could tell he felt bad for the service and when they finally brought out my wife’s dessert he gave us a free extra dessert however soggy cinnamon bread doesn’t really make up for a bad $250 meal. I still tipped good because I believe in tipping but I really feel like we weren't attended to because we are a younger newlywed and assumed to not have as much. It really bothers me because since we are starting out this is like a once a year special event. I wanted to take my wife to enjoy her parents favorite restaurant. We saved to be able to do so and leave a good tip. If you are someone who is wanting to have the Ruth Chris experience do not...

The weather was 117° today which is why we arrived in shorts and sandals… I understand that this is an upper class restaurant which requires a dress code… I contacted the restaurant prior to arriving to inform them that this is the attire that we were wearing and they approved it… Once we arrived, they said that they would seat us, but we would have to be in the corner by the bar… We abided by the rules because we understood that there was a dress code… The server at the bar area wouldn’t even respond to our thank you or our request… We decided to leave because of the treatment not only from the server, but also from the check-in… We met with Alexis at the entrance who is beyond ignorant… she was able to seat a family wearing sandals and flip-flops and I asked how it was OK that they were able to be seated in the regular seating area and not having to sit at the bar like we were seated… Alexis said she wasn’t going to argue with me. I simply stated I’m not arguing with you. I’m just asking a simple question… She mentioned that it wasn’t the flip-flops. It was the shorts so I stated that male is also wearing shorts just as I am… Then she further stated well he’s a man and you’re a woman and your shorts are short… Which triggered the gender situation… I told the server that was not the route I would like to take it was simply Ignorance that she carried she continued to roll her eyes and ignore me and called her manager Julio… Julio basically made the statements that she did… There was no argument. There was no fight. It was just a simple question as to why we were wearing the same attire But couldn’t have the same treatment as the other family?… The other family, lighter skin lighter hair mentioned this is total discrimination… I did not want to take that route, but if was completely obvious… I will never return here and I am completely embarrassed that this is what our world has come to what our America has come too. A daughter, grand daughter, niece, and wife of a veteran what a shame a...
