BAD BUSINESS! KIA Fiesta has left a bad taste in my mouth. Just yesterday evening my dad shows up to test drive a vehicle that he’s interested in and upon arriving, a sales manager by the name of James was there to assist him. Once they arrive back to the dealership my dad noticed an odd sound coming within the engine bay as well as inside the vehicle (Keep in mind my dad’s a certified mechanic so he knows a thing or two) James assured him that it will be looked into the next day by a certified mechanic before making a deal. It couldn't be looked into right there and then since my dad arrived at almost closing hours. Soon after, I had received a text message from James where at that point we stayed in touch and even set a time and date. We talked about the vehicle and the potential issues it may have as well as financing options. The next day, i texted him early to confirm that I could go in a lot sooner then originally scheduled and assured he would be waiting for me. Upon arriving, I shake his hand and introduce myself. He acknowledges me and has me briefly wait as he retrieves the keys. Things go down hill from this point on. He is then stopped by his co worker and is told by him that the vehicle was SOLD. Even James looked at him shocked and as you can guess I was really disappointed. James checks in with this other managers in the office to confirm. Sure enough he comes back and he apologizes and that the vehicle was indeed gone despite it still being on the lot. Now remember, this is coming from a Manager that tells me he only handles the numbers side of deals. So you figure he still has some if not more experience in sales. So I expected a lot more from James. Either way I was very disappointed. He mentioned that that the vehicle was purchased via wire money and was getting ready to be shipped. Despite texting that entire morning you think he would have given me a courteous call letting me know that the vehicle was already sold. So overall, there was no transparency, communication and goes to prove that James and KIA fiesta does not value their customers. They figured it’d be easier to take the cash then to help a customer finance. James could have handled this a lot more smoother and should’ve been honest instead of telling me he was attending a meeting that entire morning. Either he had simply forgotten about my appointment date or KIA Fiesta just didn't care to do business with me because I wanted to fiance. I didn't even get the option to put a deposit down to secure the vehicle from the beginning. I just showed up and they tell me sorry it’s gone. I won’t be doing business with Kia fiesta after this experience and for those who are just be careful with the lack of communication...
Read moreI've been driving hand-me-downs cars all my life. I'm now approaching my mid-30s with my second child on the way; my 2005 Toyota Camry is just not suited for my lifestyle any longer. I'd like to think my biggest approach to cars is to have what is practical for me. Coming to terms with being a minivan mom was not what I expected of myself in 2024, but when I saw the 2025 Kia Carnival, I changed my tune (ok, sure, it's an "MPV," but you know what it really is..).
We live in central OC. I'd gone to three other SoCal dealerships in person. One just to see the car, take it for a spin, and explore our options. The second we'd driven an hour out to thinking we'd close on a deal but that dealership didn't honor the price they told me beforehand until they wanted to play games and finally tried to offer their originally mentioned price when I had my car in reverse to leave their lot. The third one brought out a car for us that didn't have the specs we requested, despite us explicitly having the details in four different texts on four different days.. it was rough for a bit there.
I was growing weary. I'd looked at a lot of dealerships - most of the ones in SoCal, even a few 300+ miles away. I found out Fiesta Kia had the configuration of the Kia Carnival we were looking for and reached out. Kevin touched base with me via text (as I requested to be texted when I first reached out online), and was clear cut and to the point as I would've hoped for. Too many other car salesmen I'd talked to in the past several weeks from other dealerships were either sucking up, didn't know what they were talking about, were too pushy, were too fishy, were playing games in negotiations that I was not game for, or had too many hands/voices in the pot to get their responses straight. My experience with Kevin never gave me those bad vibes; he's a rare honest car guy in sales. He's doing it right; we worked things out reasonably and quickly (without ever feeling pressured or rushed). We drove 100+ miles each way to get there, but I'm very pleased to say we purchased our 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid at Fiesta Kia. Shout out to Jimmy with the finance side of things also for being a standup person as well, making things understandable, transparent, and easy for us.
If this dealership has what you're looking for, I feel confident that they'd do...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would! Worst experience ever! Not only were the employees rude, but they were also negligent. The first time I took my car, the service guy Adrian was rude and left me waiting in the service area for 30 minutes before he even acknowledged me. I would understand if there were more customers in line, but I was the only one there at the time. I just asked for an oil change, and he offered other stuff like filters and the regular mumbo-jumbo that all dealerships offer. When I declined, he got hostile. I told him I had a warranty for my oil change package, but according to him, I didn’t, so I paid out of pocket. I was already feeling intimidated and just wanted to get out of there.
Since I live in Coachella, I made the mistake of taking my car back there in March 2024, thinking my experience would be different (dumb me). I made an appointment, and when I got there again, the service advisors were rude. They didn’t even greet me. They looked like they hated their job! I decided to wait in the lobby, imagining that since I had an appointment, it would be quick—no longer than an hour. But boy, was I wrong! It took them two and a half hours. I told myself I would NEVER take my car there again!
A service advisor sent me a text message to do a nice little survey for a free oil change, but I declined it. I hated that place and never wanted to go back, not even for a FREE oil change. Today, 8/01/2024, I decided to drive to Palm Springs Kia—yes, from Coachella to Palm Springs! The service advisor told me I do indeed have a warranty on my car! But hold on, that’s not the worst part. After my car was inspected, they told me that the cabin air filter door was missing and that it would cost $35. So I called Fiesta Kia since they were the last ones under my hood and told them. The service manager said, “We are not taking any responsibility for your missing door but we will offer you a free oil change if you ever decide to come back.” I told them I didn’t want a free oil change. I want the $35 to replace my missing part! I never want to see them or experience their negligent behavior and attitudes!!! Mind you, their oil change is $150, and all I...
