Hi… I have had real Korean fried chicken from a very well known chain that came from Korea and it was the best fried chicken on the planet….. Ying’s however is an insult to real Korean fried chicken, 1 star is being too nice of a rating, this is a fraud Korean fried chicken place… please do not call this Korean fried chicken because it’s misleading and lying to people who don’t know what Korean fried chicken actually is…. Read moreI went in because Korean BBQ, and online it said they had Fried Pork Belly. The first time I ordered an appetizer and a meal which is normal at any Asian restaurant. What's not normal is it fed me for 3 days. I'm telling everyone to go because heaven forbid they're gone someday! Go, Order, Eat, tell Friends, Repeat. The woman cooking speaks very little English, just point at what you want and tell her if you want Spicy or Not Spicy. The woman working that day earned my respect, skinny with black shoulder length hair, wish I caught her name. She cooked everything on her own and in a timely manner. Even though I wasn't the only customer and had a large order, she was helpful, kind, and left a great impression.
My partner and I literally kept saying "wow" every few minutes. Given it was just a random decision to try the lil corner spot inside of a grocery store, we didn't have much expectations.
