Worst dining experience of my life, and that is not being dramatic. I waited an hour for my order and that is because of their incompetent customer service. I ordered an Asada plate, two asada tacos, asada fries and two cheese papupsas and a horchata. I understand a no refund policy, but if my whole meal consists of asada and you tell me AFTER completing my purchase and having me waiting for 5 minutes before I was told there was no asada and that i must order something else. Bare in mind, again, i understand a no refund policy I've worked food service before, but this was ridiculous. My order was close to 50$ okay, as I'm ordering this whole meal why cannot I be told then and there that there was no asada? I could have stopped my order and proceeded to leave else where, but they choose to wait until I purchased my food to disclose to me that there was no asada. Refusing to give me a refund for their mistake and me refusing to accept anything other than what I paid for, they sent one of their workers to another location to get asada for my order. As I was to think they were going above and beyond to complete my order, but no. It took 15 minutes worth of back and forth before they decided to do that. So I was told it'd be a longer wait for my order, understandably so, but when I ask to have the rest of my order made at the same time as the items with the asada, it was yet another issue when in all honesty it's common sense to make everything together, not have partial of an order sitting on the counter getting cold long before the other portion of the order was started. Read moreInread the reviews and thought it would be a good experience. If you want Nahos here. . . Don't ask. I asked for Nachos with monterey jack cheese instead of that yellow fake sauce. They used so little cheese that you couldn't see it on the food and put so much lettuce with grated 'cohijo' cheese on top that it looked like a salad without tomatoes. Their manager/cook did not understand why I asked for the cheese on top and got mad about it. She argued with the servers/cashiers and did not seem to care about the customer/consumer. Nachos are not hard to make with real grated monterey jack cheese. I had to ask for napkins 3 times and finally was handed some at the table. All they can keep saying is sorry. Do better.
Considering our economy and how it is here, in Antelope valley, in regards to finance, in the food business, I feel they should be very happy with delivering great customer service and do better! Alot of restaurants and places like this are hurting because of less business. Next time; Understand a customer and the needs of how the food that's ordered should be correct. I can make this at home, and trust me, next time I will. I only came to this spot because the Thai food place next door is closed today. They always deliver great service with a smile and they don't ask for a tip before the food is served.
Also, I love new technology and all but if you ask for a tip before my food is served, who is that fair to? Especially, with the issues I encountered at this place, who is going to tip you well?
I won't waste my time or money again at Mama's Kitchen. I can see that there is not much to offer considering their service....

They seemed like they were mainly interested In their online orders. I ordered 3 birria pupusas, 3 quesabirria tacos and pupusas de queso. First the birria tacos looked burnt and it was dry. Our order took so long that the people who arrived there before us had already finished and the people who arrived while we were waiting received their order within 10 minutes of ordering. I had to ask them when our order would be ready. We waited patiently and they didn’t even offer any accommodations for the inconvenience like a free refill or something. You know it’s not even about getting anything free it’s about them acknowledging the fact that they didn’t apologize and had Bad customer service.
