Santa Ana Fresh Mexican Food — Restaurant in Palmdale

I ordered a carnitas torta using the drive-through last night. I also ordered a large Jamaica drink. I think the total was just under $17.51. The drink was very good - seemed a little stronger than I’m used to and maybe a little sweeter - very good! The torta and carnitas were the greasiest I have ever had in my 50 years small experience with Mexican food. I’m a white guy and don’t think I’ve ever really had Mexican traditional carnitas. I’ve heard it’s cooked in lard. Oh my! Who knew that would be sooo yummy! Simple shredded pork with pieces cooked to a deep golden caramelized brown throughout. Perfectly salted. I ate here once before today and had amazing chicken tacos. Today I ordered the Wet California burrito that was to have marinated chicken, breakfast potatoes (as they have pictured) rice and cheese maybe beans but I don’t remember now, with guacamole. It was 18 dollars !!!!!! When I opened it it wasn’t even appetizing, the cheese on top wasn’t melted. My first bite I could tell the chicken was all thigh meat which is nasty to me for burritos. The potatoes were actually fries , I haven’t seen a bean or a rice. Overall I'm very disappointed . I have gone here lots of times but there's a reason why I stopped going and I shouldn't have gone back. Thier carne asada meet in carne asada fries and Carne Asada Tacos is odd looking as well as looks undone it is never cooked completely even when I've said we'll done.
