I'm extremely disappointed with my visit to McDonald’s this morning. As a regular customer who usually has a good experience, today was a frustrating waste of time. I was with a coworker and ordered three coffees: one black, one with two creams, and one with milk (café con leche). When I got to the window, Emily handed me only two coffees, and I immediately noticed that the one with milk was missing. I pointed this out, and after checking the receipt, we realized it hadn’t been ordered. I offered my debit card so she could add it, but instead of processing the transaction, she asked me to pull around to the waiting area.
At that point, I assumed the coffee was either already paid for or that they were going to make up for the inconvenience. When I asked why I needed to pull around just to get a simple cup of coffee, she mentioned we were holding up the line and seemed annoyed, as if I was bothering her. (I’m surprised she doesn’t recognize me by now, given how often I come here without causing any issues.) Reluctantly, I moved to the waiting area and ended up sitting there for about 10 minutes.
When an employee came out to deliver food to another customer parked next to me, who had been behind me in line, I flagged him down to ask about my coffee. He went inside but returned empty-handed, informing me that I still needed to pay for it. Confused, I asked to speak to a manager.
The manager, Paulina, was busy with another order, and I had to flag her down as well. When I explained the situation, her explanation for why this happened made no sense and highlighted a clear lack of communication at this location.
Paulina took my card, swiped it, and then sent another employee out to finally bring me the coffee with milk. By this time, I had been there for nearly 30 minutes, making us late for work. I requested to speak to the manager again, as she didn’t personally return with my coffee and instead sent her employee to deliver it. However, after waiting another 10 minutes without a response, I decided to leave and write this review.
My primary concern is the lack of communication. It’s unsettling when an employee takes your card with no explanation and asks you to park around the corner. No one made an effort to resolve the issue properly, and this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems at this location. I sincerely hope they provide better training to their staff to prevent this from happening again.
I wish this issue had been resolved while I was there, but the manager didn’t seem interested in addressing it, so I’m left to write this review. All of this could and should have been an easy fix for a $2.50 coffee—very poor...
Read moreThis McDonalds should be avoided at all costs.
I go to McDonalds twice a day, usually for coffee and often for food. I currently have 250k points lets put it that way. This McDonalds will argue with you, I dealt with Isaiah.
I pay for 2 shots of espresso and extra whip: this does not fit in their normal frappe cups (because of the extra) you very simply use a larged iced coffee cup to combine and serve the coffee. Make a "normal" caramel frappe (I know your frappe maker only fits the frappe cup). Pour my 2 espresso shots in said large cup and then add the frappe into that large cup. Top with double whipped! What you DONT do is what they did today, twice. Make my frappe with the 2 shots added, blend it all together and then pour my, now diluted coffee, into the. Up and see what fits. It wouldnt be that bad if you gave me the rest of what i paid for in a smaller cup like some do. But dumping what i paid bc it wont fit is the reason i asked for the larger cup in the first place. This is how starbucks got their class action started wasn't it?
McDonalds needs to have a common sense evaluation on their manager test. I didnt say make it in the iced coffee cup, bc i know it wont fit, i said they end up using a large cup to serve it in. Those were two different verbs!
The photo shows it simply stirred and settled. Clearly not 2 BLACK espresso shots in there.
Side note: while i was waiting i heard 5 different people complain about missing items, 2 said their food was incorrect. One lady parked because her coffee was cold and a new employee was trying to help her; a seasoned employee was an a** to him saying "there or there or there" if you knew then why didnt you just...
Read moreWorst experience ever at a McDonalds. Terrible customer service at 1:48am in 11/15/20. Placed two separate tracsactions and in both transactions coupons were scanned through our mobile app but were not taken off. I spoke to the manager and she said she was unable to refund us the money. She kept telling us she could not give us a refund but could only give us something for free. That is not acceptable coming from personal retail customer service. If a customers coupon is not being accepted due to technical difficulties it shouldn’t be the customers fault. The manager kept making up excuses rather than giving us our refund. Finally she gave us our refund and then had another rude employee have us sign the refund papers. After we asked her what he managers name was she got very nasty with us and called the cops on us. That was extremely disrespectful as we only wanted the name of the manager in case our refund did not go through. I am extremely disappointed in the managers and employees McDonald’s has working. I have never experienced something like this. I hope disciplinary action is taken upon these employees as they cannot be treating customers this way. The WORST McDonalds I have EVER been to. Lastly, it smelled like pot in there. I demand each employee to be drug screened. Maybe that will determine some reasoning of the actions that took...
