I'd been wanting to try a lox sandwich and decided today was the day. I compared prices at several shops, and drove more out of my way to try Izzy's because of the Google review rating. Well, they apparently don't have much respect for walk up customers, because the price for the sandwich at the self order kiosk is $2 more than the online price. They also suggest a 25% tip, which seems to be standard practice for any food related service these days.
I also ordered a bag of day old bagels, which are described as "assortment varies." I was a bit surprised to receive all blueberry, as I'd been expecting and would have preferred a variety. Read moreJust rating in regards to being kicked out of izzy’s due to my service animal. This morning I went to Izzy’s bagel with a friend and brought my service dog. I was yelled at by the owner who is an extremely rude and passive aggressive lady with an accent and thick black glasses. She did NOT believe I had an emotional support animal as he was not wearing the vest, my dog has a skin condition so he is unable to wear the vest I explained that scanning his bar code is on his collar will bring up his forms and she did not believe me and would not allow me to show her proof. This is absolutely disgusting!!! What has happened to the Bedford Community?? My family has been going to Izzy’s ever since they opened and I have never been so disrespected like this in my life. I have this service dog due to the tragic death of my twin brother Noah Latimer, my service dog is assigned to me for PTSD and anxiety surrounding social settings. I have all the proper documentation for my dog to accompany me in establishments and have never come into a problem before. very disappointed. Will not...
