California Barber Shop

Low-key barber shop that consistently delivers high quality at an excellent price. I've been coming here for about 2-3 years now, and all 3 of the barbers are great, and they will spend the time and effort to get it right. I've always struggled to find a barber that I'm happy with, and I've definitely had a number of bad experiences with higher cost barbers anywhere between Belmont and Palo Alto. This spot is the best, and it's not even close. Shout out to Tommy for always being professional and respectful. Honestly, I wouldn't blame them if they raised their $25 price amid all the post-pandemic service inflations. They are surely working below market rates at this point, and the quality is still the best you can find. Awful shave & haircut. Charged me $30 for shaving my beard & trimming my hair a bit. I am very used to getting my beard shaved with an old style blade & this was done very poorly. The only positive was that the gentleman was entertaining to talk to, especially about the various school pennants he has in the barber shop.

Let me give you some details:

Haircut: I look like Calvin except I am not a cartoon 6 year old with a stuffed toy tiger called Hobbes

Shave: Tufts of hair were left in various parts of my face.

Eyebrows: I sadly look like one if the pirates from the geico commercial as the barber cut one eyebrow way more than the other

Jesus, right now I am so angry on myself that why did I go here for haircuts? Since moved from Eroupe to California, I couldn’t find a proper hairdresser. I had a nice and long hair and maybe one on of those individuals who is so sensitive to his hairstyle. I saw the reviews and even the barbershop looked nice but when I went here there was an old guy who were cutting hairs like 80 and 90ths. I was even showed him a picture that I want my haircut like this and If you are sure you can start. But he messed up and cut my hairs so short that I am looking like bald old man.
